Jack didn't care where he was running and he slammed into Devina knocking her feet off into the air, and falling hard on her back, Jack rather had a more comfortable landing, he was on top of her. After he shook his head out to figure out just happened his eyes grew wide, "Beg your pardon love."

Devina gave him a grin, and pushed him off her "Are you okay?" she asked, now hauling him to his feet.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." He said brushing himself off as he stood up. His neck then titled to look behind him, "But I'm afraid my hat didn't make it." In the distance, Jack's hat could be seen, slightly smoking from the bullet that had missed Jack's head.

Jack shook his head in a lazy fashion, "No...it was-" Just then a loud sudden bullet was heard as it flew between Jack and Devina making a hole in the brick wall. Jack jumped around and pointed and yelled in a wild voice," It was them!?"

Devina cocked her pistol again, and knelt down aiming. "Dogs..." she swore fireing a bullet out towards the noise.

Margaret could barely breath. Yet she was able to draw one dust filled breathe. "JACK!!!!" and with that she fainted.

Jack dodged another bullet before diving into the rubble to drag out his wife. He flung her around like a rag doll, and finally place her on his shoulders, holding both her hands with one of his hands, and her feet with the other hand. "Let's get out of 'ere!" He screamed at Devina as he started running to an old shed a few yards away.

Devina hung back, still wanting to kill the attackers. She fired another shoot "I'll follow on!" she called, dodgng a well aimed bullet.

Jack ran into the shed with fast feet, and once there, let go of Mari, and she landed in the hay with a thud. Jack cringed, hoping he didn't break anything in her. He then sat down on a upside down bucket, and panted, trying to catch his breath, waiting for Devina.

Devina scowled, and jumped back to avoid a bullet again. Suddenly she heard someone cough behind her. "Hello Ms. Jones." the cold voice said, then somthing smashed over her head. She fell unconcience (sp) to the ground, pistol droping from her hand.

Jack heard no more bullets, and cautiously stood up. He crept towards the old twisted door and peered out of a rotten hole. He saw nothing odd, but there was no sign of Devina.

Devina woke up with a thuump as she was uncerimoniously dumped on the floor. She felt like she was having the worst hangover ever as she stared glumly at the pairs of feet about her. "Ow." she said sitting up on her heels only to find her hand tied behind her back "Is this how you treat guests?"

Jack sighed as he turned back around to see Mari's unconscious body laying in the dirty hay. He walked over to her and shoved his foot into her side, "Come on and wakeup already will ye?"

Margaret slowly opened her eyes. "Jack what happend?" she asked, her voice hoarse. While unconcious she had been remebering their first meeting.
~Margaret was mopping the deck when she heard the first mate talking to some one. She turned only to meet the brownest eyes she had ever met. "And who might this be?"The owners of they eyes asked. "Jack, this is Margaret Black. Margaret, this is Jack Sparrow, he's joining the crew." She held her hand out. "Ready to be a pirate?" She asked.~
