Mara heard the words though she didn't understand to well she knew it had something to do with her mother's death. But she was frightened of Vader she put her small arm protectingly around Maraj.

Mara Jade stayed close to Maraj giving her friend comfort. As they watched Eljaraj recieve unconfortable time with Vader. She tried to use her mind. She lifted up a small looking object and threw it with her mind at the black stranger.

Vader's consentration was broken, and he released the grasp on Eljaraj's lungs, as his attention turned towards the small child, who threw the object towards him. "Ah, you are just as foolish as your mother."
