Mara looked at the ground. She saw now that Vader was going to have her under the Emperor's control soon then there would be no hope for her friends. Good bye Eljaraj, you were a great friend. If I never knew my mother I would want her like you. She gave her friend a weak smile.

Mara Jade struggled at the stormtroopers who had her in restraints. She didn't want the Jedi killed. She didn't know her very well but it wasn't right for her to be. The all the sudden she felt something or someone touch her mind and she went limp.
(It was Vader who did that.)
