Menyar had no intention of going back to the ceremony, and he certainly had no intention of returning to the gardens.

"My king, you have my best wishes towards you and you son," he said graciously, beaming at Philip.

Philip glowed with pride and took his well wishes with sincere gratefulness, and that was that. Menyar politely excused himself from the ceremony and went upstairs to his elaborately furnished private chambers.

"I am not to be disturbed," he told the guards in a voice that brooked no argument.

Aisling and Timothy bid adieu to Cassandra. Timothy caught his cousin's attention and he beckoned them both to come to him. They rose and made their way over to his seat.
"Timothy! Aisling! I didn't think thee were going to make it!"
"Father bid us come and represent our family as mother can't leave." Timothy replied
"Why is that?"
"Can thou keep a secret?" this time Aisling spoke
"Of course fair cousin!" said the Prince
Then looking at her brother who nodded she said
"Mother is expecting! The child is due anytime now!"
"That is wonderful news! When will it be announced?"
"Father wished to announce it here but since he feels he cannot very well leave our mother he has decided to wait till after the babe is born." Timothy said.
"We may at least tell my father? He will want to know of his sister's condition!" said the Prince
"Of course our Uncle shall know. Wilt thou tell him for us Philip?" Aisling said eagerly
"For thee fair cousin I will." Agreed the Prince with a smile.
"Good." said Timothy "Now, shall we meet thy betrothed?"
"Aye, I believe it shall be a good marriage. Eleanor is both agreeable and beautiful."
"I had hoped so for thee." Aisling spoke sincerely.
"Eleanor." Philip called, Eleanor broke away from the people who had requested to speak to her and now gracefully came to her husband-to-be
"Yes Philip" she said as a smile flitted across her face.
"Dear, these are my cousins, Lord Timothy and Lady Aisling of Gavenshire, They are here in place of my Aunt and Uncle."
"I am delighted to meet any relation of my betrothed." Eleanor said politely.
"I thank thee, your Highness." said Timothy bowing.
"As do I" spoke Aisling with a deep curtsy.
Then Eleanor was called away.
"She seems very aimiable cousin." Timothy said after she left.
"I agree, thou shalt be happy with her, I am sure." Said Aisling gleefully.
"Hast thou been shown where thou shalt sleep during thy stay?" Philip asked
They both relpied that they had, then there seemed nothing left to say so Aisling spoke "I pray that thou both excuse me, I wish to speak some more to the Lady Cassandra."
"Dost thou mean Cassandra of Grenwood Palace?"
the prince inquired
"Aye. I was fortunate enough to bump into her and I do wish to know her better."
"Then I wish thee Godspeed. She was a dear childhood friend of mine. I think I saw her and Elizabeth walking towards the gardens."
"Aye" Timothy spoke "that was where they said they planned to go."
"Goodnight then" Aisling said as she turned to go.
"I shall see the later Sister."
"Aye! Goodnight your Highness." she waved and left. When she reached the garden she passed two men walking out but paid them no heed and soon found Cassandra and Elizabeth.
"Greetings Ladies! My brother and cousin wished to speak alone so I thought I might come and share words with thee." She greeted them smiling.

Cassandra turned and curtsied to Aisling. "Hello, Lady," she said, "I am grateful you have come. I consider it a pleasure to have met you and your brother."

"I thank thee, Cassandra." Aisling replied returning the gesture then she turned to her cousin Elizabeth. "Tis so good to see you again dearest cousin!" she curtsied to the princess.

"My lady," said Cassandra, placing her hand on Aisling's shoulder, "Is thou not from Gavenshire?"

"Aye, My father is the Duke of Gavenshire. Why dost thou ask?" Aisling replied

Cassandra smiled. "Because Grenwood is the neighboring kingdom to Gavenshire. We share Blackring Forest."

"I am familiar with that forest! My brother and I go hawking there all the time! Dost thou hawk?" Aisling was very excited to find that her new friend was also a close neighbor!

Darius ate and thanked them all politely, then he left the room limbing with pitying looks on his back by the foreigners and some jerk actually dared to came towards him, but Darius stopped him with a cold stare and continued his walk trough the stairs. The king apoligized to the guests for Darius`s actons, but since he had once been a soldier he had a certain pride of him and he tried to stay that way as much as he could.

Darius had a habbit of walking to get blood running trough his veins after hours of sitting, he entered the maze that he knew very well since his normal walks included this place. Darius heard speech behind the corner and couldn`t resist ease dropping all tough it was rude no one would know of it.

Cat rode up to the gates, and threew the reins of her horse to a stableboy. The mare snorted, and threw back its head as she dismounted, and walked into the castle (?). Her friend and protector Tom, followed her, leaving his horse too. "Take me to Cassandra of Grenwood Palace." The woman said at a servant "And beeth quick about it!"

The servant nodded and led them to the great hall where all the nobles were supposed to be, but when Cassandra was called there was no answer and some had seen her going towards the maze. The servant led them to the maze, as they came closer Darius heard them coming and turned around to look at the newcomers.

They weren`t in the castle earlier since Darius had met them all upon their arrival, Darius limbed forwards stopping them with his hand. He looked at them and smirked slightly.

"Who are you might I ask lady? You haven`t been here before since I met all that came to the betrothal and you weren`t one of them, now as I am the kings highest advisor I have a duty to take care of all the guests so what might be your name and business?"

"My name is Caterina , Baroness of Wessex, and my business is my own." Cat said sharply. Tom poked her in the back "Oh...alright then... I came to talk to her about somthing, I know her from my childhood. Happy?!" Cat said, talking more to her squire than to the man "So what is your name?! And what is your business?!"

Darius limbed away leaving them in the maze as he attended to the events in the hall.
