"I am... terrified," Denaris said without conviction. "So what would an almighty and omnipotent dragon like you want to ask of a lowly, humble mage like me?"

Ladeos was about to go mad with these lower life creatures and left behind the counter to in front of it ready to leave the inn.

"What is your rank mage? Are you part of the council? and don`t play any games on me and if you elf didn`t hear me clearly enough..."

Ladeos turned to the other elf.

"Second in the Council," Denaris said with a sigh. His name wouldn't be difficult to look up if Ladeos got too interested. Vaguely he wondered if he could work a teleport spell without the proper spell components.

Ladeos took a chair and sat down in grat interest since this elf seemed powerful, he could feel it in his very bones and actually believed his story. There was no doubt that he wanted to be the first one in the council, Ladeos placed his fingers on the table keeping his palm up with them.

"Like I said, examining the rocky decor of your home," he repeated dryly. "I got dropped there by accident, and I would prefer if you don't ask for the details."

Ladeos hmped, he felt weird like there was someone near by and coming, not to mention he sensed the stench of the silver dragon and suddenly the hole in shaked as few buildings besides them were blasted into fire. Ladeos rushed out to look as a huge black figure landed before him on the street, Ladeos gulped openly as he stared into the eyes of another black dragon.

"Well... hello there... mother..."

"It would be more suitable for your pride and my pride if you would appear as yourself, not as a weakling dark elf like you are now and like those few are at Pnen'adr..."

Ladeos grinned and said few magical words turning into himself, he looked back at the inn spitting his toxic breath towards the building, his mother looked him with an annoying, but amused look.

"What was that about?"

"Vermins dear mother... just vermins..."

They both jumped to the sky and flew away towards the western mountains of the world, Ladeos knew very well what awaitd him, a family gathering.

Denaris would have rejoiced if he hadn't suddenly found himself caught in the midst of a conflagration. At least the dragons were gone, and it was another stinking human pig hole on the line. The faster it burned, the better.

A pity he had to be caught in the middle of it.

Straightening his robes with exaggerated importance, he stood and looked around. The inn was burning. Pieces of the thatched ceiling went up in flames and collapsed to the ground. The fire slowly burned its way towards him. As one of the wards he had put up around himself had been against fire, the only thing in danger was his comfort. The room was already heating up like a furnace.

He spoke the words to a levitation spell and floated up to survey the damage. From without he could hear the screams of the townsfolk and smell the stench of burning flesh. A jet of water issued from his palm, putting out the flames around him. He glided out the window and up. In the distance, the silhouettes of the two black dragons faded away. He committed the direction they were flying to memory. After he murdered the apprentice that was the cause of all his pains, the Archmage would no doubt be intrigued by the appearance of the wyrms.

Denaris flew up and over the burning human town and launched himself towards Pnen'adr.

Rhavaniel ran out the door, and quickly jumped into the saddle. The silver dragon reared, and shot up into the air.
He makes for Pnen'adr.
Then so do we.
He angled his wings, and flew higher. She opend her mind, and melted it to his, seeing through his eyes.

Ladeos looked back seeing an hint of silver in the sky and in the direct of the town, he looked at the black mathriarch whom was aware of the situation, but didn`t bother her mind obviously since there seemed to be more inportant things to attend to.

Ladeos stopped in the air at the same time as his mother and began a spell that was soon finished, they teleported farther away towards the western mountains and soon landed near a cave entrance. Ladeos knew that here was where he born and there would be others arriving or they werre already there. They entered the cave and then the mathriarch sealed the exit with an illusion spell as always, they entered a huge cave with 5 other back dragons waiting there.

Ladeos looked at them all, his biggest and naturally dumbest brother Kresal seemed overgrown not to mention phyically powerful. The others seemed quite normal sized, his two sisters seemed to have returned to the cave and were protecting 8 eggs of the future offspring. Ladeos hmped at the sight, he was a loner and selfish so he wasn`t interested in the worries of others, but when it came to his mother there was no denial to her or else a punishment would be fulfilled. Ladeos took his place among his siblings and looked at them with judging eyes, everyone did the same since they all wanted to see how their siblings had faired during the few hundred years.

It took them ages to pick up the dragons trace agin, but when they did, they found it easy to follow. The magic was rich in the air, as well as the smell of other dragons. Fearlessly, they landed out side a cave, and waited.

Ladeos sighed as the mathriarch cast her eyes upon them and gave them all critic since she had been watching them all, luckily she seemed only delighted of the treasure, but Ladeos wasn`t since she mentioned it with a certain tone. This meeting had some reason and finally it came out.

"Now... Finally it is time to tell why we all are gathered here, since our offspring is about to burst out into this world, but unfortunately some of you have disappointed me in that matter... I need you to train them and to see that they come learn our ways, secondly I want you to find us servants to gather us an army..."

"And this is leading to?"

Ladeos interrupted.

"It is about revenge my son, you see my treasure was stolen even before you were born and I was left scared after a band of paladins and a silver dragon attacked me! Now it has come time to destroy the paladins and to find the offspring of the silver one... and to kill the silver one itself..."

"Did this silver one have a name that you would know of?"

"No, I don`t know it, but the paladins most probably will and we need an army to first destroy the order... what happens to our army after that doesn`t matter anymore... but this shall come in the future, I advise you all to spread out to gather strength for the future until I call you.."

Ladeos sighed and snorted, his mother was blinded by her rage and lust for vengeace, which couldn`t less interest Ladeos and his mother knew that well. Ladeos wouldn`t go along with her mother, not this time after hundred of years of being ordered around was enough, but the others seemed quite fond of it. It was all the same, he didn`t care for anything, but himself and his treasure. Ladeos spreaded his wings already in the cave and jumped out of the cave entrace into the night air.

Cayo pounced, dropping from the air, and pinning the dragons wings next to it with his sharp talons. He roared, and bit down on its neck, clenching just tight enogh to be a threat. Rhan clapped her hands happily, and dismounted, carefull to avboid the sweeping tails.
Well done she said
It was easy, he is weaker than I thought he was.
Still, well done They focused their minds "Bnúghas!" The elf cried, and the magic formed strong bonds.

Ladeos roared in rage and soon the others appeared out of the cave attacking the silver dragon, Ladeos began chanting a spell against the bounds and broke free with the help of one of his sisters. The others ecspecially the strong Kresal attack towards the dragon with toxic breath as few of the others cast invisibility spells and Ladeos concentrated to bind the foolish silver one.

Rhavaniels face hardend with rage, and she raised a hand, breaking the spells that bound heer Dragon. Her mast, had told her once that a dragonrider without his dragon was better off dead. She would honour his words now.
"Dragon! Relese him!" she cried, blue sparks flowing from the mark on her right hand, the inwé greischan.
Cayo wrestled away from the black dragon, bearing his teeth. He was slightly smaller, but for that, quicker and more powerfull by having a rider and at that an elf. He katapulted himself into the air, breathnig fire for the first time.

Two of the black dragons disappeared into thin air and began their attack, Ladeos finalized his spell shooting a large net of web towards the silver dragon and then attacking him with his toxic breath as the two others went for the silver one with their breath, claws and teeth, but suddenly the black mathriarch appeared out of nowhere attacking the silver one.
