Padme continued down the hall, walking past the girls and noticing them looking out the window. She continues on until she is around the corner, but stops and looks out the nearest window, wanting to see what they were looking at. Padme looks around until she sees Palpatine, with his hands folded inside his robes, staring across the way. "That's odd... I thought he would have been in session with his advisors about now...." She mused to herself, thinking his behavior, not to mention his policies, a little strange.

(Yes, Eomer, that would be interesting, but what would be even more interesting is if Padme walked in... I've always wondered what would've happened after that....)

"I think Anakin has got the picture now" she turned to her old friend, as if to say you've got the picture now.

Padme shudders as she sees Palpatine smile. She continues wtaching Palpatine for a few minutes, then turns and walks back towards Anakin and Obi-Wan, feeling an urgent need to know more about how the war is going.

Padme hurries back the way she came, an evil feeling tightening about her. She feels it fade as she gets farther away from Palpatine, but shudders again, trying to rid herself of it. Padme walks around the corner, and seeing them not speaking, she goes up to them. She avoids looking Anakin in the eye and instead turns towards Obi-Wan. "I was wondering if I could have a word with you, Master Jedi?..."

He could since confusing if Anakin, something just was not right. He did not speak until Padme came beside him. He turned to look at her then glance slowly over to Anakin. He nodded a yes to padme.

"Anakin...get some rest. I will come to you with more plans of the later day.."

He turned from Anakin, to speak with Padme. He walked forward ready to speak..

Padme looks over her shoulder, still feeling the evil presence, then looks back at Obi-Wan. "I-I was just wondering how the war is going... I heard you two went on a mission to save the Chancellor...." She mentally shudders.

Padme, even though she's not a Jedi, can sense Anakin's hurt, and tries to ignore it. "Obi-Wan, can I tell you something?..." She looks around and then back at him. When he nods, she begins. "There's something wrong with the Chancellor.... Have you noticed it?... It might just be me, but I wanted to ask someone who could....sense...things...." Padme sighs, then shrugs. "It's probably just stupid...."
