"I suppose we can call this a WT win, but I doubt we shall be alone for long." Luthien surveyed the landscape, then a wicked grin spread across her face. "As long as they're gone..."

Without another word, Luthien walked over to the cacti shrine and lit a match. The pulsating glow of the pyre bit into the darkening night.

"I'm going to let Ellethwen discover this, but I don't think I want to be there to witness her witless wrath."

With a wave to Enyalie, and a last glance at the charred cacti, Luthien mounted her horse and rode off once more.
