In a pie shop on Fleet Street, a series of gruesome murders were committed as an act of revenge, by an alleged demon barber...SWEENEY TODD. But what would happen if Mrs. Lovett had not met her death in the boiler room, and Toby had not taken a blade to Sweeney's throat? Would they have continued with their killing spree? Could there truly be a happy ending after all?

These are the questions we are going to be answering as we roleplay an alternate ending to the movie. </center>

Just after Mrs. Lovett confesses her love to Sweeney, something deep inside sparks a change of heart. Now, instead of throwing her into the furnace, Sweeney decides to let her live, and it is our job to roleplay the events that follow afterwards.

Apparel: A dark violet gown with lots of torn black lace and netting. Sometimes she wears a dead rose in her thick messy hair, and dark boots.

Personality: Carmella is extremely reclusive and shy. She normally doesn’t like talking to people she hasn’t met, and therefore is not very good at serving customers when they enter her mother’s meat pie shop. However, almost all day every day, Carmella allows the creative side of her to show when she is writing and simply adores poetry. It seems Carmella has also inherited her mother’s love of the sea.

Weapons: None, although they say the pen is mightier than the sword

Background/History: Carmella Lovett was born on December 21st, to parents Albert and Nellie. Growing up, Carmella lived a fairly average childhood but remained secluded from the rest of the world. Throughout her childhood, Carmella realized that she wanted to be a writer, so she spent most of her time working on stories about faraway places. After her father’s death, Carmella dedicated a lot of her free time to helping out in her mother’s shop, Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pies. At age 16, Carmella became acquainted with Sweeney Todd (also known as Benjamin Barker), and found his life story rather intriguing, so she began writing a novel about it. But what Carmella didn’t know was that her life would be changed forever because of one man seeking revenge.

Other Notes: Carmella can be found assisting her mother, Mrs. Lovett, in her pie shop, but most of the time she is hidden away in her bedroom working on stories.
