A Mirkwood Roleplay
Revamped plot from the minds of Aramel and Pandora

It is the beginning of the Third Age of Middle Earth and there has been an evil growing around the borders of Mirkwood. The spiders within the forests grow bolder and closer to the stone kingdom of Mirkwood. Orcs threaten the borders of Mirkwood and every day these evils grow and no longer is Mirkwood a safe haven for the Elves.

It now becomes the fate of one Elf, the youngest son of King Thranduil, to become the greatest warrior or Mirkwood. This is where our tale begins, Legolas must train and learn the ways of the warrior so that he can help aide in the defeat of the pressing wickedness growing in these lands.

With the help of close friends and family, will he be able to live up to his destiny? </center>

This was the general plot that we played last time and sadly the RP died premature... I'd really like to start this LotR RP again if people are willing. If the plot seems stale then let me know and what you think would be a better plot...

I hope we get enough people that are willing to play because I think this has a lot of potential :bones:

Awwwww I remember this one so well! I feel bad that I'm not into LotR at the moment but this brings back such fond memories <3

I know it's so cliche but I seriously think it'd be fun to do a PotC/LotR crossover RP sometime. Just because it might get all of us back into LotR as well. :yes: Haha. :teehee:

@Ara: I think it would be fun to play a PotC/LotR crossover, just imagine Legolas meeting Will Turner :lol: I do hope there are some people left around here that are inspired to play a LotR RP

As far as I know some of these RPers have left AU for some time. You might want to try and PM Pandora if she's still up for continuing this, but I don't think she checks her PMs anymore. ;)

Oh, I would love to join this, truly, if it ever starts up again. The storyline sounds epic, plus I've never actually gotten a chance to roleplay myself before, even though I've read plenty of threads of people doing it on other sites. It looks extremely fun, so don't hesitate to include me if this takes off. :)

Pandora, I think we should totally go ahead and revamp this. Since I'm getting back into LotR now, I think it's the perfect time. We'll have ITGD for ourselves and then A Sleepless Malice Part II open for the public. How about it? :)
