*plot plot plot* Was wondering... do you need a picture of my character?

I don't think a picture is necessary but that I am not a hundred percent sure. I just like posting them if I have one.
So anyone have any ideas on how we want to start this? With the resistance forming? After some sort of mini skirmish? Before a mini skirmish?
And I suppose we will need some treacherous characters that are the spies---maybe we can just have them pop in and out as we need them?

Freya - A picture isn't necessary, but of course if you'd like to provide one, it's more than welcome!
Elenriel - I started us off with a vague-ish mission sort of thing, just to give us some direction! But it can go any way you guys want it to go! They can get interrupted, have a mini skirmish break out (there can have been some major skirmishes before, too, if we want!), or they could complete their messenger mission without much hassle. It all depends on you guys! :')
As for spies, yes! We definitely need some nasties out and about. I figure we can of course have NPCs that everyone can control as we need them, and we can have actual characters who are spies/baddies as well! =D It'll be fun times!

NCPs are always fun. I tend to over-use and abuse them...(Well, it all the other rpgs I've been in lately, which haven't exactly been on this site. Feels forever since I've really rpg with alot of people like this on AU, so my style has changed muchly, lol.)
But, we need to break the ice of all these strangers showing up for this meeting... how do you plan on going about this, Winterfell? Because I have an idea. The man with the message(Whom I'm guessing also spread the word about this meeting and will be the facilitator for it) asks my character Agatha if he knows any stories about this country, and specifically about the queen. At first Agatha kinda skirts away, but upon the man's persistance, she starts telling. And it being a touchy subject(which I would presume it is from your backgroun story), most everyone who's not there for the meeting empties out, which gives more room for our characters to properly meet better and start the meeting.
That is, if you didn't already have another idea in mind.

Raina, your idea works for me, since I really don't have any ideas at the moment.
And sorry but I am just going to confess this now...since I like to have some drama and action, I am hoping to at least have some type of problem during their messenger mission...doesn't have to be big one...but maybe a small skirmish or something so that the quest will not be super easy.

Agreed, no easy quest. Maybe a skirmish, or maybe they get sidetracked and end up going to another place first.

I agree. Nothing major since it is still early on but their journey to the north shouldn't be a walk in the park by any means. I like the idea of them getting sidetracked. @Lady Elenriel if you like drama in an Rpg it would seem that already there is potential for a romance triangle and its not even page 3 yet Never done romance in an Rpg before so a fun way to start.

Haha, yeah, I noticed. I've done romance in rpg before. Can't say I'm too big of a fan, but I've never really done that much of a triangle before, lol. This will definantly be interesting...

Haha, yeah I noticed that as well. I have done romance before and I like it to an extent but I have never rped a triangle before. Yes, this should be interesting since it all seems to be our first time doing that. And awesome Legolas, glad this is a fun way to start for you!

Gosh darned, why do all the OCs have to be so darned good looking? That might have something to do with it, lol! I almost started drooling when I saw Niko's pic, lol!

Although, to be honest, when Dante came up to Calista, I just wanted character interaction. I was just going to have him flirt a bit but have nothing happen, and Agatha have an eye for Niko.
But as it were, we've got the triangle, and I could see Agatha and Niko becoming more like brother and sister kind of relationship. But with all the attention Calista is getting, what hope is there for the other women? I mean, there are plenty others. It seems a might bit MS the way she's been subject to the attention like this, but that might just be me.
Also, maybe we should slow down a bit so the others can post? I don't think any moved for the meeting can take place without Winterfell, and he's waiting on a reply from Freya. And so we've got like... 3 pages of just this small talk and waiting. I don't know, just an idea.
One more thing... I have an older character of mine that I've been using in several other rpgs who might actually fit well in this rpg. But she's redhead, and that would be two redhead females, even though they're complete opposites of each other(and totally unrelated... that I know of, lol. Since Agatha was made spur of the moment.) But she would be an ex-knight that once worked for the Queen, and was very loyal to her and did horrible things in her name(well, the king's name, but the queen's commands). But when she realized what the Queen was making her do, denied her her requests and thus was branded a traitor. And Briella would now want to join the resistance, but with her known past with the Queen, it would cause quite the stirr I think. But I don't know whether I actually want to bring her into this rpg or not since I already have two characters...

Maybe you could think about bringing her later in the rp? That is if youre ok with having 3 characters.
Sorry but I dont understand the term MS? I do see Niko and Agatha becoming close but whether its platonic or not may have to be developed later as Niko still has an eye for Calista though he is enjoying Agatha's company.
I see what you mean about the waiting. I think its an ok idea. We would need some things to be able to develop after they start their mission rather than having things decided between characters before the meeting even began if that makes any sense. It would make the journey more interesting.

Care to take one more player? Because I like the idea of dark Faes and want to play one (just don't know how to fit the story).

But I'm one that almost gets bored with just one oc, and often take two or three. But I'll maybe save her for later. MS=Mary-sue or Marty-sam(depending on gender) viewtopic.php?f=18&t=12209That would be the best way to describe it, lol. At least, the most entertaining way, anyway. And yeah, we should wait for more charcter development for when the rpg actually starts. I see no problem in you joining, Morgana.
