Hey all!

So it's been a while since I've used the boards, but I'm finally back and I was looking to maybe start up an rp based off of some events in Greek mythology. I already have plot planned, now all I need is some people to participate!

Serious knowledge of mythology isn't required. If you've seen movies like Clash of the Titans, Wrath of the Titans, Troy, Immortals, etc, and know who people like Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Kronos, Ares, Apollo, Athena, etc, are then that should be enough. I'd prefer the use of canon-characters only, but if you had an OC you'd like to bring in then we could easily work something out.

So if anyone is interested just let me know!

Awesome!! I have claims on Zeus but all others are open, so please, do take Hades. I'll give people a day or two more to join in before posting the idea for the plot, then we can get started! :D

Welcome! Glad you decided to join us! Feel free to pick your main character (everyone is free except for Zeus and Hades). :D

Ok, so I guess it's about time to post the plot so we can get started. I was thinking a role play set pre-humanity, back in the time when the gods were still at war with the Titans and the earth was dangerous and desolate. Essentially it's a just a lovely time where the gods go between winning and getting their arses kicked, to winning again, in an immortal war that lasts for years longer than mankind will even be able to imagine.

The way I figured it we can each have one main character to role play, and the other unchosen gods/goddesses/villains can be played by whomever needs them as you see fit, that way if more people decide to join later on they can still choose a character. If you want to claim more than one for your personal use that's fine with me, though, as long as you can handle it. :)

If you guys have any other ideas for a plot that you think would be more fun then I'm all ears. If not then I'll be setting the actual RP page up tomorrow under the proper page. I'll also be posting a list of available characters for the sake of any newcomers as well as ourselves.

Thanks for being so patient! I promise we'll get this thing rolling ASAP now! :)

I'm in! I haven't been on the forum in ages. Oy! But yes, I'm totally in. I don't know who I'll play yet. Poseidon seems tempting, but I also adore Athena. HMMM. I shall decide soon.

Ok, I think it's time to get going now. I'm going to be posting the official RP over on the correct board right now. It'll be under the title "War of the Gods". Feel free to start posting whenever! (If you haven't picked a character yet either PM me or specify it in your first post so I can make sure and get it listed!)

As I understood, pre-humanity wars with the Titans means that Hades can still enter Olympus, not staying in the Underworld. That is easier because he can interact with other gods, as I talked with Rumpelstiltskin and he wanted to interact Athena with Hades.

I guess we desperately need Hermes, maybe someone from us could play him for the time being?

I already interacted Athena with Hades :D They need to help Zeus!
