I don't know where to find the rule for rping and I'd really like to start/join one. So some help would be good.

I don't think there are many rules for rping, cept the main site rules like no swearing and that kind of thing. But quite suprisingly, you can only do LOTR rp on the LOTR rp board. Though if your starting your own rp, its good to ask others first before you start it, to see if they think its a good idea.

No, you can't be a Tolkien character unless the RPG itself specifies you being one...

Actually, I'd say no, no characters made by Tolkien are play-able as character.
