Does he have to have accomplished anything to deserve to be on a poll, though? Leading the Fellowship to the Lady is a pretty good deed, do you not agree?

Not really. Defeating a Balrog is a good deed. Being able to ride out against all the Nazgul at once is a good deed. Scaring off the Witch-King is a good deed.
But lets face facts here, if Haldir wasn't there the fellowship would have been guided by some other random elf. Who could have replaced Glorfindel?

No it's not biased. Haldir could have easily be replaced by anyone with a knowledge of Lothlorien. Who could have replaced Glorfindel? Who could have chased the Nazgul into a river? Who could have supplied healing for Frodo?

I apsolutely LOVED legolas the first time i saw him! but glorfindel in the FotR book was so cool. i wish he did his part, that would'vs been awesome:)....i l voted for legolas anyway...  _________________ "Have i gone mad?"

How could they exclude Arwen and Galadriel??!! I voted for Legolas. He's just so awesome! Galadriel and Arwen are great characters, quite major in a way, hah! (and Galadrielsomenumbers, only two banners are allowed, I know, it sucks, but that's the rules)
