We sure can be! That's the whole idea, we're trying to get the whole forum to read the books as a group. Our discussions can all be posted here in this board, which is kinda nice, because you're not limited to one thread if you have a new topic you'd like to bring up.

So, just think of it all as one BIG, happy group. Try and get all the members you can to join in!

This is a pretty old thread but I took you up on it Ivreniel
and read FotR in the last 2 weeks. There is so much that I see that I didn't see before each time I read it. Tolkien was sheer genius.

Yeah, I've been reading it over too. No one's posted in a LONG time. That I've read anyway.

...well, it seems that Tolkien is a summer favorite
...I usually reread it during the summer, so I´d really enjoy having others to debate it with

Well, there are at least 3 or 4 of us here. I'm not sure what quallifies it as an established reading group but I, like you Zandaïn, love to discuss and debate these books.
