You have a point here. I was always saying that we must be grateful that someone decided to make the best books ever, movies. Although some thing were missing (it would be impossible to put them in 3-4 hours) the movies are great.

I agree! The animated version is quite bad! Mind you, it was made in the 70's and it was not the most tasteful decade. I remember the colours and general style! yaaak! Well not all, there are some good things that have come out of the 70's though....

Star Wars came from the seventies. *ahem* back to topic. I think Fatty is my favorite character not in the movies. One of them, anyway.

"Brave" dosen't fit Fatty. If he were brave, he would have gone on with Frodo, but that is my opinion...maybe he is brave in the Shire...who knows.

"Brave" doesn't mean you go out looking for heroic things. He didn't want anything heroic. But ended up alerting Buckland to the Black Riders. I'd say that's bravery.
