Haha.... Farmer! I don't know if you've noticed, but in the first movie, when the black rider rides through Hobbiton (i think) he stops at a house and there's a guy chopping wood... The guy looks like a larger version of Faramir; or at least, I think so.

i am sooo in love with faramir, which kind of makes sense given that i want to be eowyn anyway. i like that he's strong yet sensitive, wise yet humble, mistreated yet never bitter...and so on. i also love the way he understands eowyn better than she understands herself but doesn't try to force her into any kind of revelation - he leads her in the right direction, but still gives her freedom to realise for herself. i want to find my faramir.

*adores both book and movie Faramir*
I read the books before I saw the movies (and this was after all 3 of the EEs were out on DVD - don't think me weird, it's just what I do) and I absolutely fell in love with book Faramir. Then I saw the movies and fell in love with movie Faramir too. :happy: I think even if he had been played by someone less attractive I'd have fallen for him - he's just too awesome for words! As good a man as Aragorn but of a different sort, if you know what I mean.

Didn't have favorite character until I read TRotK. Then it was Eowyn and Faramir. Then I re-watched all the movies and thought, wow. Faramir. :drool:

I'm down with Faramir :drool: My pick for LOTR hottie. I'm also a big Croc Hunter fan (RIP) and he played the part of Sam in the Crocodile Hunter's Collision Course.

LUV the House of Healing scene in the Return of the King extended version.
