All the parts were played so beautifully. I am soooo happy that Viggo got the part instead of the other guy, cause Viggo did such an awesome job, and he is a cool guy. And I think they should have given Faramir black hair. Excuse me, raver colored hair. Even though it is pretty as the pale red color.

Okay, I'm gonna get killed, but I must state my opinion:
*winces* I wouldn't have cast Orlando Bloom as Legolas. I'm not sure I could produce any better actor for the part, but he didn't quite fit the role. I realize that a lot of the changes to Legolas were PJ's doing (way too serious), but something about Orlando didn't fit. Now, before I'm murdered by OB fangirls, let me say that I do love his acting in other movies and he is very...pretty. He did a wonderful job as Will Turner, and Prince Paris (even if he was a brat), and Balian, but Legolas was not his best role. Granted, it was his first major role and it was a difficult one to portray, but I think someone better could have been found.
*runs away before I can be mauled by crazed fangirls*

I can agree with you. I'm not against Orlando, but i think some one a bit taller would have been better. I mean, Elves are tall! But I doubt they could have found any one much prettier! Elves are pretty!

Well... I know that many of will hate for saying this, but I'd have never chosen Elijah for the role of Frodo. Not only because he doesn't physically fits, but because I didn't like his job.
Sooorrrryyyy... It's just my opinion!!

Ohhh.... and well.... now many of you hate me because of my opinion about Elijah... I'm ready to make another confession... I don't like Orlando Bloom as Legolas... he looks like a girl... I don't like him.

I think the cast was perfect. The only one I wasn't wild about was Christopher Lee. But.... I never really did care for him. He reminds me of my grandfather. And well... that isn't fair to old Christopher is it? LOL!

Orlando Bloom was gonna play Faramir originally....... but PJ couldn't find anyone to play Legolas so he changed Orlando Bloom's role!

I wouldn't change a thing the cast literally became their parts and continued to act with poise, grace, and perfection though out fotr, ttt, and rotr.

Aaahhhh!! *sits down and cries* You can´t mean that!!!
Yes, ok, if it is really your opinion, I accept it... but for me Elijah was the best Frodo who could be played. He just WAS Frodo, like a real hobbit, and he did such a good job, he´s such a great actor and...
Hey! Don´t leave me!! I´ll shut up!

Wow - I didn't know that!
What a novel way to cast a role - I hope Orli didn't mind too much (mind, having said that, I don't think he would have minded at all, after all, look how well his career has taken off as a result.)

well, its just me but I thought Denethor was a little to pathetic acting when you campare him with the books, he acted more like a selfish little child in the movies and in the book he was more of a proud but composed meany
