Self-explanitory.


I met Craig Parker last summer, and though I have reasons not to respect him as much anymore, I'm not going to dig deeper into that. I don't want to be "that person" who spreads rumors. It's possible he had a bad day, and that's human, although not an excuse.

The first day I met him was very lovely though. We joked for about ten minutes about EVERYTHING. There was also some very jokingly "flirting" (as in, not serious, at all) where I made mention of a van with the words "free candy" written on the side of it and how it'd "wait for him" in the parking lot after the con. He laughed, I laughed, I gave him some Swedish candy, I got his autograph where he wrote "lots of elf love", etc. I also told him about my reaction when Haldir died, which was to raise my fist in the cinema and go "NOOO!" His response was (while laughing) "That is pretty geeky." Looove it. I have a few pictures of us too. Some when we're sort of laughing and talking and just having fun and then I got a hug and one of those standard posed pictures.


I was supposed to meet Sylvester McCoy (Radagast) this summer but for reasons I'm no longer able to. But there'll always be next year!

Also, I met Craig in London at the London Film and Comic Con, so I flew to England just for that occasion.


Have you guys ever met anyone from LotR or The Hobbit?

Lol Hopefully they would still want to talk about LOTR. Most movie celebrities move on after a project, especially if it's been a long time.

I want to meet Dominic Monaghan and Miranda Otto the most.

Well I've met Howard Shore. Don't know if he counts.

I think Howard Shore counts; music is a big part of the movies.

I met William Kircher (Bifur) at Salt Lake Comic Con. I was feeling too shy to say very much, but he seemed like a really nice guy.

I haven't met anyone of them..but I want to meet all of them.

^ Ditto. I have not met any of the actors (yet), but I would love to sit down and have a chat with them all and just discuss work and life. You know... After the nervousness passes after a few minutes.

I haven't technically met anyone but I saw Elijah Wood at fan expo in toronto. I tried to take a picture but we had to buy tickets for that and I didn't have enough money. I still have a picture of him from afar but I wish I could have talked to him...

ogm! I wish I had met any of them! I have not.

I am so shy I don't know if I would know what to say if I had the chance to talk to them. I would want to know what it felt like when they were finished filming. When they had to leave the set.

I would have bawled I think.

Quite a few, some briefly like Craig Parker and Lawrence Makore at events and some, Luke Evans and Ian McKellen after seeing them in plays.

At work we've done a lot with Peter Jackson, mainly because his aircraft company re-manufactures original parts for us. My boss has recently been emailing him to put us in touch with Francis Ford Coppola, and seeing as PJ is now curating the NZ First World War museum he'll probably ask to borrow our stuff

I haven't met anyone from the movies. I wouldn't mind meeting them if I wasn't really going out of my way to, but as much as I like the characters, celebrities and actors don't do much for me. To me, they're just regular folks who make more money than I do.

However one of my best friends did meet Craig Parker two years ago and got me an autograph which was really sweet of her!

I've always wondered what it was like for them. They practically lived in middle earth during the movies!
