Miranda Otto
- Gave birth to her first child, a girl, named Darcey in Australia. Her husband, who was unable to attend the birth, watched via web cam from America. [1 April 2005]
-Was pregnant with daughter Darcey while filming War of the Worlds'
Liv Tyler
- Gave birth to an 8 lb. son named Milo William Langdon on December 14, 2004 in Manhattan.
Cate Blanchett
- Second son, Roman Robert, born 23 April 2004 in London, England.
Hugo Weaving
- Is a vegetarian (but eats fish occasionally).
Elijah Wood
- Sister Hannah starred in The Two Towers in the glittering caves. (A very small part but there all the same!)
- In the original book The Lord of the Rings, Frodo is 50 years old when he leaves Bag End, which makes him the oldest of the four lead hobbits. Elijah Wood is actually the youngest of the four actors.
- Each of the nine Fellowship members got the same tattoo: the number nine written in Elvish. Elijah's is just below his waist.
I didn't know where to put this post so I put it here, sorry if it's the wrong place. Might not interest people but updates some of the pages (which are fab and very interesting) and hopefully will increase peoples' knowledge even more. Hope that it comes in useful, if not sorry for wasting time

That's interesting about Miranda Otto's hubby watching by a webcam. I thought it was helpful and made my LOTR fanpage not so boring (I linked here to give you credit so I didn't just take em )

Some interesting facts about Viggo Mortensen:
Viggo speaks English, Danish, Spanish and Norwegian fluently. He also speaks French, Italian, and Swedish quite well.
He has dual citizenship in the US and Denmark.
Viggo loves horses. He bought Uraeus, the horse who played Brego in LOTR and TJ who played Hidalgo.
Moreover, he purchased the stallion that played Arwen's horse and gave it to Liv Tyler's stunt woman.
Viggo composed the music for the song he sings during Aragorn's Coronation in ROTK himself (the lyrics are by Tolkien).
