Johnny Depp was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but so was Christopher Lee. Does anybody else besides me feel that that's a little strange?

yes, Christopher Lee played Johnny Depp's dad. He was a dentist who never let his son eat candy as a kid, so that's why he was so obssesed with candy as an adult.

I don't see why it would be strange.
I actually think they make a great contrast with each other with Christopher Lee's serious, almost intimidating aura and Johnny Depp's quirky goofiness.

If you love Tim Burton as much as I do, you'd know that Christopher Lee's been in LOTS of movies with Johnny Depp! Sleepy Hollow and Corpse Bride are the most memeorable ones for me, but I do get where you're coming from... Christopher Lee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a little unnerving... *shivers*

If Chris was actually John's dad, I wonder what Chris would look like young?

Haha, that'd be funny. Ya, that was a decent movie, although the whole minor plot with Christofer Lee was kinda a strecth from the book as I remember. But it was entertaining. C. Lee is a good actor. Quite talented.
