Hey everyone!
I was thinking the other day — what if gambling existed in Middle-earth? Imagine walking into the Prancing Pony in Bree and, instead of just having an ale, you see folks playing something like magical slot machines — but with Rings of Power, Palantíri, and cards featuring Gandalf and Sauron!
This random thought hit me after I recently tried out
NV Casino, which has some pretty creative and themed games. It made me wonder — people in Middle-earth definitely take risks all the time. Think of Gollum, always betting everything on finding "his precious", or Bilbo taking the ultimate gamble by sneaking into Smaug’s lair!
So here's a question for all of you: if there were casinos in the Shire or Gondor, what kind of games would they play? Maybe a "Ring of Fate" roulette where the prize is ultimate power? Or "Elvish Blackjack" with enchanted artifacts?
Also, fun fact — I saw a game on NV Casino that had mystical symbols and instantly thought about Gandalf's magic. It would be awesome if someone made an actual Lord of the Rings inspired game for casinos!
Who do you think would be a regular at such a casino? Legolas? Gimli? Maybe even Sauron himself behind a high-stakes poker table?
Let me know your thoughts — let's have some fun with this idea!
