I wasn't sure in which section to post this, but anyway.
I've been looking for a good free software to download vids from YouTube. Obviously, there are hundreds of sites that offer download software, and I wasn't sure which to take. Now I wanted to ask if anyone an a bit of experience with those things and could recommend me one? Also, I don't want to get into copyright troubles, so I wanted to know if there is any program that is especially safe in that respect.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

I use Real Player, and they have a plugin (for mozilla, at least) which can download video & music clips off the internet. I didn't install it, so I only use it because it's there & not because it was the best I could find.
I can't remember which format they get downloaded in, either. But it works well enough.
