| Post subject: | A short trip to New York |
Hey folks! Planning a quick 3-day getaway to NYC next month. Trying to figure out the best way to get around - should I stick with the subway or maybe consider other options? Want to hit all the main spots plus maybe venture outside Manhattan if time allows. Any suggestions? |

Actually, I'd suggest looking into car rental options if you're comfortable driving there. Yeah, the trains work fine, but when you factor in waiting times and transfers, it really adds up. With your own wheels, you can easily bounce between Manhattan attractions and Brooklyn spots without being tied to transit timetables. What's really cool is you could squeeze in a quick escape to wine country or even hit the beaches out east - totally doable when you're not dependent on public transportation schedules.
