If you would like to petition a new category, you can---though "best poet" is quite specific to what you are good at, so it's possible we can include that under a general "best writer"?

Thanks for the indirect kudos on my poetry skill

And I will start a petition for a new catagory of best Writer (poetry/fanfic/original writing) then seems rather fair. Where do I begin?

Try making a different thread in this section, and tally up in your first post how many people post saying, "I'll sign the petition!" That way, mods can see how many people really want the award, and maybe some new ideas will pop up and we can add it to the official list of awards.

How about a new catergory for the next round, after this: Least typoed. It would seem only fair because there is a most typoed.

^There's not a lot of basis we can put that on----Like, a lot of people here are grammatically correct most of the time and the good members are good enough to always type out good posts so that's almost half of the members on the forum---there would be way too much competition, and we would keep voting and voting and voting.

I like that idea, smeag, but I agree with Kit--way too many members are always (or nearly always) grammatically correct. It's not as much of a distinguishing trait as being the most typoed is.
