i've had that problem as well. it was terrible a few days ago, i couldn't go 2 or 3 pages with out that popping up!

Actually I haven't had any problems until today, where it's just being very slow...but the weather here has been insane with wind and storms, plus I'm on wireless internet...so in my case it may be my computer, but I'll check with the other mods and Arwen to see if anyone knows what's up...and then, get back to you all if there's an answer I can find. However, if it's with the service provider, we'll all have to wait til they, the powers that be , fix it...but I will hope for the best that it's back to normal asap.  Hope it keeps/starts working for everyone...crosses my fingers.

I've noticed the slowness of the forum, even when there aren't many on at the same time. I thought it was my connection... (and it still migh be it)
So far I have only had 'problems' when I log in. For some reason I recently had to do the log on process twice before I was logged in.

I've only had problems when a lot of people are on at once. And like Ea, I've had a couple of logging in problems, and it'll list me as online but it won't let me post.

I think its either to do with the numbers of people who are on the site or just online in general (apparently this can slow down the server you're connected to the internet through and maybe combined with a slightly slow website it all adds up?) - or individual computer problems... but I'm not an expert in these matters, sorry. 
I personally haven't had any problems (well, except to do with 'swapping accounts' if I'm going from my own to the mod and so on...  ) but that might just be because of the time zone I'm in... I don't know. Will have to ask Arwen, I guesses... _________________ <center>i love
