A-U is unique in all of the ways up there, from the large selection, to the contests, to the galleries, and everything. Plus, i dont know of another forum that the mods and admin get as close as we do here, nor do i know of many other places that so many people of different ethnics, religions, character, and personalities get together and have a good time.

"number of different sections to explore" A-U is one of the most complete websites dedicated to LotR i've ever found. Media, Gallery, Humor, Fan Fic and Artwork, Forum, Chat, Tag, Elvish...etc.
On top of having the numerous sections and places to feed our obsessions with the work, there are regular updates and layout changes to keep things fresh and appealing. That's what drew me in and keeps many coming back time and again, as well as the many friendships we make here with people from all over the globe.

I put the large community.
I always thought that this board had a completely different feel of it, that other boards, and t's because of the atmosphere the members generate.
I think it's because most people are religios, fair and loving, and they share a bit of that with everyone on the board.

i say ALL.  but the one that stuck out the me the most at the time was the number of pictures (and the quality) in the gallery. _________________

I think it's the community. It's big enough so that there's always people on but still small enough to be friendly and mean you can get to know lots of the people in here _________________

Mostly the forum.. This is the most friendliest forums I've ever been to. And the site has all the information any LOTR fan would want! And that's why A-U is my fave LOTR site and that's what makes it unique.  _________________ <center>

This reason I keep coming back to A-U.com forum is because of the people.......everyone here is so kind and thoughtful........no one ever has any negative things to say about someone else. To me it feels like one big family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you everyone!!!!!!!!!!

It's unique because alotta love went into making this site... so much work done- just look at the forums and the main site, there's so much that's been done! I actually voted for the amount of pictures, because there are tons on here!
