I'll be posting the daily challenges here. Feel free to ask questions or post what you make or discuss or do whatever on this thread.
Day One
Graphic: Blend
The size must be larger than 500 x 500.

The goal for this challenge is to work on composition and placement.

Graphic: Banner
The goal for this challenge is to work on text and font.
Go to http://www.dafont.com/
Use one of the fonts on the first page in your banner.

You must use images from The Fellowship of the Ring for this challenge.

Day Three
Graphic: Icon
Recreate the coloring of this icon as best as possible.
It will obviously not be exactly the same, but try (the goal is to get heightened colors, especially blues and reds).
You must use images from this scene - Theoden's Decision
Try to do it on your own, but if you are in need of a starting point this is the tutorial for the icon.

Day Four
Graphic: Wallpaper
Sizes are generally 1024x768 (desktop) or 1280x800 (laptop)

You must use pictures from this section.
The goal is to work with the texture - try not to use too many gradients/color fills/brushes/etc.

Day Five
Graphic: Banner, 700x150
The goal of this is to have negative space. I know that's harder with banners, but that's why it's a challenge.

Day Six
Graphic: Poster, 600x700
Choose a theme from the Lord of the Rings and create a poster around that theme.
You must use at least one of the concepts from a previous day's challenge (texture, color, random font, duplicate image, negative space). If you choose to use negative space, it must compost at least 40% of the image.
