ok i really really want to get better at banner making because since i left the forum and came back everyone has gotten really really good at them so please if any1 has any tips to help me out please please please post them here!!!!!!!

by the way i have paint shop pro 9 but even photoshop tips will help and other programs

I use PhotoPlus its simular and free. But it has sertain features I think that PSP doesnt have.

yeah i use elements which doesnt offer masks so i can help you on other stuff :)

hey!!! :bounce: Well, I use PSP8 and could give you a couple pointers if you want. 8 and 9 are VERY similar... but yea, I've got like 7 or 8 different styles and whatnot... what kind of things are you looking for?

I'd say the biggest change I've seen in banner making is the use of textures and blending modes like hard light, screen, etc. I don't think many people used effects like that until this year or so. Weird how it kind of evolves like that. :P Anyway, I've found that if you just go through all the old tutorials in the "Resources and Tutorials" section you can learn a lot. :)

By the way, I think that would be a better place instead of the Request section. :) Mods?
