Hmm...well I actually have had very little experience with facial hair, but sideburns are pretty similar..so my advice to you would be to go over the facial hair with the colour you would like...then..erase over the area you have just coloured, until you can see the flesh colour, slightly, but the overall colour is the hair. So hopefully it will have a "stippled" look. Hope that helps.
