Does anyone know any idea of how much this costs? Because I really want it and plan on saving my money for it.

Well since there's a newer version available it should be a little lower than it was at first, but if you don't have an older version you'll need the full package which could run you from $400-$500-ish. I'm just remembering from the last time I checked prices.

Omg, is Photoshop that expensive? Wow, I feel cheap having spent only $15 for my PSP 9. It must do alot more though.

Well the newest version is the CS version (basically 8.0, but who's asking). I only used 7.0 and CS, so I can't really tell you what the differences are, but history's shown us the changes aren't usually that major if you consider the major and most used functions. There's always small things and key tools that are upgraded but I don't think the changes are that major. If you have 6.0, the upgrade to 7.0 is bound to be cheaper.
I do know that the CS version has a few new helpful tips, starting with Adobe Bridge which substituted the built in explorer in 7.0. There's also a filter palette, allowing you to see any filter on your image before applying it as well as a lot of preview options that save you time when deciding to make changes. A lot of the palettes have also been upgraded to a far more user-friendly level. There's some new adjustment options to match colors when blending, as well as new text options, but not a whole lot a new stuff, really.

o ok...then I might buy Photoshop 6.0 for PC. No need to spend more money on minor changes like that...
Do you know how much PS6 would cost?

Sorry, can't really help u there. The older versions stop going into circulation when newer versions come in so they're a little harder to find, but I think I've seen them around $100-$200. It's cheaper for Mac, but I'm almost sure u wanted PC v.

I know Photoshop Elements was $150, and it does basically what I need it to do. I couldn't quite convince my parents to spring for the full $500 version However, I've heard that if you're studying Graphic Design at certain colleges (which is what i plan on doing), they'll give you a student discount. Only 3 1/2 more years

Maybe in a few years, I'll get photoshop 6.0 just because it has a few effects I think are cool but for now, I'm just sticking with my good ol' PSP X!
So anyway have fun, whatever you use!
