>_< There's no really good video with it on YouTube. Does anyone have it downloaded or something? [anxious look]
Yeah, "Roll Tide" sounds best with high volume and really, really good bass.

Because Klaus Badelt was responsible for a lot of the first one--it was the second two that Hans really went to town on. Hence the amazingly increased awesomeness of them. It doesn't actually really make a difference, I'm just curious.
When I said Pirates of the Caribbean I meant the second and third movie, considering this is a Hans Zimmer thread. My favorite PotC theme is the one Klaus composed though (the one titled "The Black Pearl"). Nick Glennie-Smith (another awesome composer I forgot to mention in the soundtrack club) also had a hand in the PotC compositions.
Oh and the Crimson Tide soundtrack is awesome!

Haha yeah, it sure is a weird name. He's a brilliant composer though. Even if most people find the film "The Man in the Iron Mask" horrible (I don't), at least have a listen to the soundtrack. It's superb! Especially the tracks "Surrounded", "Heart of a King" and "Training to Be a King"!
Have a listen here:

(theme starts 5-6 seconds in)
He also often contributes and helps out on the soundtrack productions of Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt.

I love Hans Zimmer's stuff... I haven't heard much of it, though.

Yeah the man in the Iron Mask is a good one Eru, but a personal favourite of mine is Tears of the Sun.
You have to like the African choir but that fits best with the movie

I always get the chills when I hear it

Thanks, Eru. Now I'll be paying attention to see if he's responsible for good music in any further films that I watch.
Lol, Maethor. I suppose you're right in that regard.
Will, Tears of the Sun has an amazing soundtrack, too. The last fight always give me chills, courtesy of the music.
Hans Zimmer definitely did an amazing job with The Dark Knight. It's definitely in my top 10 favourite soundtracks. As a soundtrack it's amazing, and as mere music it's still amazing. 10/10.
