AHHHH.
Someone else resurrected this club for me. I kept thinking that I needed to. But I was procrastinating and far too lazy.
YAYAYAYAYAY!
Teh Dark Knight was PERFECTION.
Loved every moment of it. YAY!
I thought Batman Begins was superb. But TDK just blew it out of the water. XD

Lol, Montana. I've found that the more I watch Batman Begins, the more subtleties I notice about it, and consequently, I like it more. If I hadn't seen it since the two times that I saw it in cinemas, I'd probably agree with you that The Dark Knight blew it out of the water. But, having watched it somewhere closer to 30 times, I'm still unsure of whether or not The Dark Knight was better, as opposed to merely different, and on par. It's sort of like trying to decide if TTT was better than FotR or RotK--at least, for me.
However, it was still an incredibly awesome movie.

Was it better the first time or the second time, Phoenix? I liked it better the second time. And I'm pretty sure that I'd like it better a third time, as well. Maybe I can convince my parents that it is necessary to test my theory. ^_^

I think I did enjoy it better second time around. Mainly because I was noticing things I never really noticed before. Letting the score wash over me and feeling more sadness at Rachel's death, which I wasn't expecting at all. I think it was more to do with how much she and Harvey really cared for one another and knowing she'd chosen him over Bruce.

^ Man, I felt sorry for Alfred over that. To know what Rachel intended and to never tell Bruce. I have a feeling that might come out in the next film.
I'm such a Rachel/Harvey shipper, it's quite scary actually. I totally did not want Rachel to die, and yet she was happy to do so if she didn't have to live without Harvey which I thought was so sweet as I think she was sincere about that. I'm unsure as to whether Harvey knew she would marry him, as I don't recall him mentioning that to anyone afterwards, and I'm sure he would have told people before he killed them that they would have been married. It was all quite tragic really.

I believe she mentioned it to him before the bomb went off--as in, over the telephone thing.
I personally loved the scene of Bruce mourning Rachel. It shows that he isn't a mass of cold emotions directed at stopping criminals. He's still got emotional connections, and he can still be hurt. I'm really glad, too, that Alfred didn't give Bruce the letter. That would have completely crippled Batman, IMHO. Rachel in TDK seemed really inconsiderate of how her actions affect Batman. She was annoying. Bruce, Harvey, Gordon, and the Joker were all awesome, though.
