Lol, Meldawen. Original fantasy RPGs are the coolest, definitely--just about anything is fine. Sci-fi is a lot harder to come up with a workable plot in, I think (plus it's all way more complicated). I love how many fantasy RPGs we have on this forum. 
And I'm really glad you all are getting online now. I've been bored to death all day. I've had like nothing to do besides sitting in front of the computer (I finished the novels my sister brought when she got back from the USA yesterday), since I was too sick for school. Which is kind of good and bad, because it meant I was stuck inside all day. But at least I had a chance to come up with a plot, finally. I've been way outdone by all the rest of you guys in terms of RPGs started.  _________________

My RPG that I started actually isn't the Time-travel one I mentioned, but the RPG I mentioned afterwards. So, you definitely won't have one like mine. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed product, just so you know.

I've joined I love how we've got so many new RPs started lately! None of them are mine, of course, I should get a few in there seeing as I like them so much. Seems as though most of my ideas seem bordering on something that's already been done, though _________________

I've noticed the increase of interesting rpgs. It seems that in today alone I've joined 5 new ones  Aerandir and Ellie, those plots you came up with number among the most promising ones I've seen thus far. Looks to be very action-based, and I always love a nice battle sequence  I highly encourage you two to enter those in the RPG idea of the month contest as I've only received *cough*4entries*cough* _________________

Anyways, I don't know if I would enter it regardless--I got the original idea from another RPG I was in three years ago, so I don't feel like it's entirely mine.
But I'm happy you all joined. Maybe now it has a chance to go somewhere. _________________

Awww, just skimmed through the Quest for the Great Ones RPG, great intro posts everyone!!
Raven, what happened to your Legends became real RPG? It died or finished? Or lives in hiding....?

Yeah, it basically died, Ea. Pity, too. It was fun. If it got revived, I definitely would stick with it.

How far did you go? I have the feeling everybody is so excited about the RP in the beginning, the idea, their characters and all, but then a week or so into it, it fades out because people loose interest or are busy with other things... well, I don't really know if it's really like this since I never join RPG's here. But isn't there a lot of great quests that died even before they got started?

I think it's just that some people forgot about it, others lost interest, and the rest of us couldn't keep it going alone.  It was fun while it lasted, though.
And yes, that does happen with a lot of RPGs on this forum. _________________
