Nope. He shed a jacket but that's it I believe.

Yay! I'm hoping to go again when it comes to the cheap theater...but if the opportunity arises I may go see it again before then. I did go see DMC twice, after all, once I was over the unpleasant shock of J/E. I was so mad after that But I'm okay with it now that we have our W/E ending. I wonder if Elizabeth saw Jack at all for those ten years?

Methinks she did because at the VERY end she hasn't aged a day, soes Jack must've found the fountain and Lizzie had some water as well.

I've heard that complaint from more than a few people. All I can say is - it's a movie, and if we try to make it realistic we'll wreck it for ourselves. Lol. Besides, Elizabeth would be pretty ten years older or no

I've always just said that Lizzie "ages VERY gracefully"...

Captain Turner, Um no. I did not question Jack's hat. I knew that they had hats and wigs back in that day in time. The bandana was a new one to me though. However it really is no surprise to me that I did not know that they had bandanas back then. History is my worst subject by far. Sorry if it was a stupid question.
Anie Surion, I do too. It is like a reward to all of the fans that have seen the first two and stuck with the franchise (to see three).
I did not make a sound....unless crying counts. At that point I was in the middle of bawling. To tell you the entire truth I did not remember where the line was from. Dude, I am racking up points today. (sarcasm) (sighs) I just sat there thinking "Where have I heard that before? I know that I know that line. Hmmm it sounds very importent. I have heard that line more than a handful of times. Where do I know that line from?!!!" when I came on here I finaly figured it out. I nearly had a panic attack. I was like, "How could I forget that? I love those movies and the books too of course ". It was a really cool line though...a Really cool line indeed. Do you think that Orlando Bloom went "But hey wait that is Gandalf's line" or "Where do I know that line from? I know that I know that line..." or do you think that he had forgotten all about that line or just did not care if it was also a line from Lord of the Rings (which he was of course in)?
Yay for Lord of the Rings obsseiveness! (high fives Anie Surion)
Meldawen, Ooh, that is cool. I am glad that you are probabley going to be able to go and see it again.
Oh I know what you mean. When I came out of the theatre from seeing Dead Man's Chest, I was so mad. I was not even made at the writters or actors or actress or producers or Disney...I was mad at Elizabeth Swann. I am surprised that I did not have steam coming out of my ears. I still loved the movie and recamended it to anyone who would listen though. My mum was really mad though. I found it very quickly that she thought that a movie most certainly needed an ending. lol
I would say yes. Elizabeth and Jack grew to be friends and ten years is a long time. I am sure that online there are pleanty of stories (allready) that have Jack and Elizabeth going on adventures or what not durring Will's abscence for those ten years. It does seem logical to me though.

^I think Lizzie won't be along for most of his adventures. She might be stupid and get into these things on the regular, but someone has to stay with Wee Willie The Third, savvy? *lol*

This is definitely true. I just wondered, obviously there's no question that Elizabeth loves Will better than Jack (just to make a point to the Sparrabethers) if during those ten years she still saw Jack on and off. Maybe he visited

Captain Turner, Well yes someone most certainly had to watch William III but perhaps she took him with her? I could see Elizabeth doing that. She has an adventurous soul (at least to some extent) and I just can not imagine Elizabeth staying home All of the time being a stay at home mother, especialy without Will there.
Meldawen, Most certainly. Elizabeth's heart belongs to Will just as his belongs to her. They are meant to be! (cloud nine)
Yes indeed. I feel quite sure that Jack would have visited William III and Elizabeth. After all Jack did become friends with Will and Elizabeth (to some extent) . Plus William III would have had no father figure and Elizabeth would have not have had any manly help around the house. Therefore I am sure that Jack stopped by every now and again and became known as Uncle Jack. At least that is what I choose to believe.

I can most certainly see it. Motherhood does strange things, you know.
William III needs a new name. One that's not longer then him.
How's about we dub him Liam? *lol*

Heehee, well, I do my best
I don't know if Jack would have had a really close relationship with Elizabeth and William. I mean, he did the right thing at the end of AWE, but all that proves is that he's not ENTIRELY self-serving, and I think Elizabeth would have been pretty careful who William associated with. Then again, I guess Jack did save Will's life, so she owes him some measure of gratitude...I don't know. But I can't quite see him doing much more than coming by because he needs something from Elizabeth.
And incidentally, I refer to Williams I, II, and II as Bootstrap, Will, and William. Or Little Will when I'm RPing him.

I call him Liam. I've been doing it for quite some time in fictions and such long before Wee Willie, III was canon, so I won't be changing my ways very quickly.
Plus, that could get confusing because Bootstrap calls Will William, so how would that go?

AAAH!
If we had a bouncing-off-the-walls smiley, that would be up there.
Sorry. I LOVE the name Liam. LOVE it.

Captain Turner, Why do you call him Liam?
Well I call Will II, Will or (sometimes) William. His father aka William I call Bootstrap Bill, Bootstrap, or some not so nice things...(great actor....but I can not stand the character). Then I call William III, William III. William is one of if not my very favorite male name though. So I like using those names (Will, William, or William I, II, II) for them.
Meldawen, You have made Great points. Really it could go either way. I still choose to believe though that Jack became Uncle Jack (even if he couldn't/wasn't around William III and Elizabeth as much as a non pirate and therefore not quite so selfish person). I do see both sides of the debate though.
