Yeah, he was one of the actors I was thinking of. Though I only saw him as Saruman and Count Dooku, I heard he made a good Dracula.

So did I, he was also in the original wickerman movie...

oo!
oo!
oo!
Can i please join?
My favorite character in books and movies are usually the baddy! of course, that does not include dumb-ugly-utterly brutish baddies...
like, for example, Voldemort rocks! well, yeah. I usually like the powerful-or ambitious- person who isn't completely bound by morals but isn't a psycho. well if they are psychos it will depend on who they are and to what degree
oh yeah, and from the ages old post about Christopher Lee, he's AWESOME!
and also the guy who played Gandalf, Ian McKellen? he's also awesome as baddie. he was Magneto X-men, and Sir Leigh Teabing (The Da Vinci Code). Brits do make awesome baddies
i love baddies, they're mainly what makes a movie worthwhile, even if they're not the main characters. without baddies, the goodies won't have anything to fight or do, and there's not gonna be a story without baddies

*coughs from the flying dust*
Yes, I agree. British people do tend to make the best villains. Including the Master. He is officially my favourite villain now.

@ Vengeance - Yep, you can join. Yes, I agree with you, moreso with films than books, but I usually cheer for the villain just as much as the hero if not more so.
I'm not quite sure why, but British people do make the best villains. I have seen too many good villains played by British people to think otherwise. And there is also a great variety, hammy villains, villains who are just evil and we don't real care why, or villains who have a reason for being like they are.
Alan Rickman and Jason Isaacs are two of the best at villains, although Jeremy Irons and Ian McKellen are very good as well.

alan rickman rocks. esp as snape. Draco Malfoy -whom i refer to as blondie- is cool too, except i didn't really like the part where he cried and stuff... 6th book. tom felton -draco-blondie- is pretty good.
villains are just... awesome!

*taps dungeon door* I made it JF! Am I allowed into this wonderful place where people actually like the baddies? Because, of course, they are just the coolest.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks absolutely too! -the Villian's motto.

Oh, well that makes some sense anyway, Draco crying and not Lucius.
What's the best bad guy you have seen recently? I haven't seen any films with really good baddies in for a while.

Recently? Hmm..My brother just watched Die Another Day [James Bond] and I have to say that Zao is a pretty awesome bad guy. And then we've got Alec [Sean Bean] in Goldeneye, Le Chiffre in Casino Royale...I could go on for a while on James Bond baddies.
Oh, and Donovan in Indiana Jones: Last Crusade is pretty sweet too.
