Yeah I love the 2005 version of the song as well, sounds so much better in my humble opinion.
Do you know if there ever was a video for Walking In The Air? I can't seem to find one, but I'd love to see it if there is one.

Maybe live. I don't think there's an actual video though.
Although in saying that...I found the video for Bless the Child which I had no idea existed until I downloaded it, thinking it was live.
I've never seen it come up on any search I've ever done though.
Much prefer the 2005 version of Sleeping Sun too. Has a very 'Pelennor Fields' vibe.

Right...got those Falconer song titles.
The Trail of Flames
Under the Sword
and
Wings of Serenity.
Thought I downloaded more...meh. They gave me enough idea of what they sounded like. And I like.

Cool I'll definitely go check those songs out. It's always easier if you know where to start, ya know.

Anyone expecting the upcoming Blind Guardian single? It's entitled 'Fly', I believe. This all taken from the site, Hansi says the songs on the album (due sometime around October) are all different, and unlike anything we've heard before. Personally, I'm look forward to it.

Blind Guardian are pretty awesome! I really enjoy some of their songs.
Whoa I wasn't expecting a Swedish song by Falconer. I just listened to "Per Tyrssons Döttrar I Vänge". hehe that was kind of cool all of a sudden hear a song in your own language.

AH question, does anybody have "En Kungens Man" by Falconer that they could send to me? This used to be my favorite Swedish folk song when I was a kid and I used to sing it all the time. I'd love to hear their version of it!! Please? I'd love you forever!

I would highly recomend The Clarion Call, Portals of Light (for a slower song), and Enter the Glade (but i hate how it ends). All three are from their album "Chapters from a Vale Forlorn". And eru, the song We Sold Our Homesteads, while not in Swedish, is about Sweden.
As for Fly, I cant wait! I'm not basing that off of this but the cover looks freakn awesome.

We Sold Our Homesteads is a translation of the old Swedish folk song called "Vi Sålde Våra Hemman" I'll go check it out

hmh, I just found a quite good band that toured with Sentenced, Charon(one of the moons of pluto and also is the ferryman of hades)
For some reason I always feel like that I want to try out more and more bands when I have listened too much to everything else...

Charon are a band I have to check out.
They're playing a festival here in Scotland in November. The Ragnarok one. Still dunno if I'm gonna be able to go. But Elvenking are doing it too..and to see them live would be teh awesome.
So you'd recommend Charon then Curunir?

Well at least I like them so far, Ride On Tears is quite good as Desire You...
Ride On Tears lyrics:
I can be the one who will lead you through the godless run
I give you all I am, take the sinner down to feed desire
Forever and forever I shall crawl
So it's insecure that light will shine on you
At least I'll give you dark delight
Ride on tears ride on hollow fears against the endless carnival of lust
Forever and forever I shall crawl
Ride on tears ride on boulevard that leades you to mourn
Buried in your pride silence reflects all that you disguised
Carrying bliss inside forevermore it haunts the restless ones
Forever and forever I shall crawl
So it's insecure that light will shine on you
At least I'll give you dark delight
Ride on tears ride on hollow fears against the endless carnival of lust
Forever and forever I shall crawl
Ride on tears ride on boulevard that leades you to mourn
Ride on tears ride on boulevard that leades you to mourn
Leades you to mourn
