My first priority is likewise Star Crystal, and lately I've had very little inspiration so I haven't been posting in others as much, but I don't really have a hierarchy other than Crystal first. Somehow I tend to do PotC stuff last, though, come to think of it.

Awww! Don't be sad SG! If it makes you feel any better, I'm hoping Phantom Grey lasts a good long time, and maybe we'll all become obsessed with it

That would be nice... *becomes daydreamy* Yeah... I nice, loooong, fast-pace RPG would be nice right about now... Not many people are posting. Still.

I know, it's kinda boring in the RPG section at the moment. I only RP in the NON-LOTR RPG, weird...

*sigh* Yeah.... Well, that can only mean one thing - RPG mania for the weekend. Which, is going to stink for me personally, as I'll be gone nearly all weekend. Friday (unlike many people) isn't a weekend day for me, Saterday I'm gone from 9am to 3pm, and Sunday I'm gone from 8am to 5pm. Grr. And, I'm getting over my rather harsh cold. Lol, but after staying in bed for two and a half days straight with nothing but sleep-inducing medicine, I'm all hyper and gittery.

Hah. I am soooo going to be haunting this forum over the weekend.
I am very pleased that I can lurk in Sharky's End once more. Of course, waiting for everyone else to post does get a little old.
I'm gonna go post in Sharky's End, now.

The Phantom of the forum is here... insiiiide my head!
*makes mental note to self not to go into Sharky's over the weekend*
Since I don't RP on the forum, I rarely go into the RP section. I sometimes browse through if someone I didn't expect has posted or I skim through the plots... but usually there is so much reading in the non-LotR fantasy RPG's. It looks so intriguing that I'm sure I'd want to join them all on the spot if I read them, therefore I refrain!!

Why would you avoid my favorite section of this forum??? *innocent look* Oooh...there's a suitable emote! =>
Well, I'm happy that you grace us with your presence on this topic, Ea, even if you do not participate in any RPGs here. You have been a nice source of beneficial criticism, etc. And just random comments, too.

^"beneficial criticism" that cracked me up!!! I don't know why, but it might have something to do with the fact that I'm eating an apple now... or maybe not...!
I'm glad to be beneficial to this honourable crowd!
So my question to you. Do you people never RP on the tag at the main site? And what about the 1 to 1 RP's which was suggested a while ago. Does anyone do that over PM or MSN? Do you have any experience to share or ideas? As I've said so many times before, I don't join the forum RPG's because my schedule is so unpredictable. Aerandear (snigger) is usually the only one I see when I am here too...

What do apples have to do with making things seem funny?
Nah--I don't RP on the tag, or on MSN, or in PMs--I don't enjoy that style of RPing very much. There're only a very few people would I'd be willing to do it through PM with, but I'd still rather RP in a group.
Lol...."Aerandear"? I looked at that, and I was like "wow....how did she manage to spell my name that wrong?" and then I realized what you meant. lol. I feel kind of stupid for taking that long to figure it out.

 y'all are funny.
But I have to disagree with you about 1 on 1 RPGs, Aerandir... I actualy 'kinda like 'em. (Really, I was the one who suggested them in the help/ideas section.... ) But, I am quite picky as to whom I RP with.
And one more thing, I've wondered this for a while, but never bothered to ask: What is the title of that song/poem on your banner, Aerandir?

Lol, SG. That's fine if you disagree with me--it was my personal opinion, after all. I figured you would, considering the fact that it was you who started that thread, after all.
The title is "Not Thou but I," and it's by Phillip Bourke Marston. It's among my favorite poems of all time.

Hmm... I'll have to go look that up sometime. That is, assuming that is not the complete poem on your sig. (?)
Lol, I've tried writing poetry once or twice before... It didn't work out so well.
Cosmicmushrooms! There's no one in Sharky's! "Where is that monkey?! I need to shoot something!" *Grabs pillow and procedes to scream into it until is out of breath*

Lol, SG. You know, a certain someone*coughmecoughcoughcough* might be able to post something if another certain someone posted. I'd say it's a more efficient use of the energy required to type "cosmicmushrooms! there's no one in Sharky's End!".
Anyways, the full poem is this:
Not Thou but I
It must have been for one of us, my own,
To drink this cup and eat this bitter bread,
Had not my tears upon thy face been shed,
Thy tears had dropped on mine; if I alone
Did not walk now, thy spirit would have known
My loneliness; and did my feet not tread
This weary path and steep, thy feet had bled
For mine, and thy mouth had for mine made moan:
And so it comforts me, yea, not in vain,
To think of thine eternity of sleep;
To know thine eyes are tearless though mine weep:
And when this cup's last bitterness I drain,
One thought shall still its primal sweetness keep,--
Thou hadst the peace and I the undying pain.
--Philip Bourke Marston
