I know, gahh, pretty much every picture of him is gorgeous. I found out that Elijah won't be filming his scenes in The Hobbit until the fall. I'm insanely curious as to how they're fitting him in the story, even for just a little bit, as he wasn't mentioned in the book. props to the director for doing so.

Well did you click on the links? Like, "rules" "about" "list" etc? Or is there nothing there?

Tig is awesome! And I think that pJ is going to have Frodo, like, reading There and Back Again to some random little hobbits? Or maybe Sam's kids, I dunno.

According to an interview, there's going to be a scene in the opening of the first Hobbit movie (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) that has older Bilbo (IAN HOLM!) working on his book with Frodo helping him or something. Let me see if I can dig up the interview... http://www.ontheredcarpet.com/Elijah-Wo ... ve/8209810 Okay, that's one. I'm pretty sure it's not the one I was thinking of, but it's at least a start!

I'm so excited! He's mentioned on Twitter and in several interviews that he's thrilled to be going back to New Zealand because it feels like a "gigantic family reunion", which I find incredibly sweet and adorable. ^____^

awww! it's too bad they couldn't sneak Samwise in the opening bits so it would be a hobbit reunion. I hope he'll be in the production vlog this coming fall, too. I'm working on making some banners of him, but it's very distracting.

Because of his gorgeous eyes that make you want to stare into them forever instead of actually working on the banners? Yeah, that's happened to me before. I also find his laugh absolutely contagious and intoxicating. Whenever I hear him laugh, I always laugh along with him, and I usually rewind and listen to his laugh multiple times when I'm watching youtube clips of him or something. <3 He has the best laugh ever.

lol I know what you mean! it's contagious! ah it's the most epic laugh. and yeah... I haven't gotten very far... when I try to pick some pictures to put in it, I get to looking at all of them. I'll post my banners, if I ever actually finish. I find he looks even more amazing in black and white. edit: I did three, so I posted them in Bucklebury.

The way Elijah is going to be in the movie i think is Bilbo is going to be telling his story to the Hobbits . . . That will be so awesome!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!! Thanks! I like my quote too!

I was sad because it appears Sam is going to lose in the "Best LotR character by Elimination" game, so I wandered on over to my favorite thread to make me feel better!
Haha, Aerliniel! Non-obsessed family members never seem to understand, do they? I'm lucky in that my younger brother enjoys LotR, too, though he's not nearly as big a fan as I am.
This post isn't nearly Elijah-y enough. Hmmm...Alanna, I've said this already, but I love your banner in your signature! I may or may not have stared at it for a few minutes. His eyessss...
Also, to get more of a discussion going, I watched some of the special features on my FotR EE today, particularly The Fellowship of the Cast, and Elijah's words about how everyone was sort of nervous about going to a new place made me feel better about college. Anytime I need a confidence boost, I just reach for my LotR DVDs!

awh, group hug cause Sam dear lost! [hint]we should all vote for Frodo next time.[/hint] haha thanks, I like my banner too how come he always looks so darn perfect? it kind of hurts to look at him too long, but I can't help it. I completely agree about confidence and LotR. I'm usually not a person who's confident about myself and have never really been. ever since my dad passed away I felt even less self-assured and stable. I remember when I first watched LotR, I really connected with the characters. so much of my life at that point did, actually, that it was probably more than coincidence that I discovered it when I did. then I read the books and gained a deeper understanding of it and how I could apply it to my life at the time. I've always been aware of just how much it affected me for the better. Elijah Wood sort of became a role model, a type of I-can-do-anything-if-I-try sort. he seems different, in a good way, from mainstream actors; like he's got a good persona. my mom thinks I'm a little strange looking up to someone I've never met, but I don't think that's a factor at all - it just encourages me to be better as I am.

Aw! That's so sad! When did he pass away? I can really connect with it too. I think everyone can connect with it, but each in a different way!
Ha ha ha! Yes! I know what you mean! He's my role model too! He's the reason I want to become an actress! *blush*
