Babylon 5 - SO many people do not know this show and it's awesome. Had such a huge impact on me and still remains my favourite sci-fi show of all time.
I definitely second that. I'm not one for sci-fi futuristic space shows but Babylon 5 is a jewel and should be appreciated more. JMS released some story-arcs in trilogy form, the most unfortunate thing is that they're mostly out of the print now so getting your hands on one means having money.
I think Supernatural was on Television Without Pity's List of "Shows We Wished More People Watched" for 2008.
I've only gotten up to season the beginning of season 3, so I'm behind a whole season. [sad]
Yay for B5 love. It really doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
I'd love to get my hands on those stories too. JMS in general is one of the most talented writers ever.
I just recently saw The Lost Tales and I got so very emotional watching it. I made me realise how much I missed the show, even more so than re-watching my dvd's.
I also got to say....I LOVE your av.
Legolas: I like the Highlander tv show a lot and coming from someone who worships the original movie, I didn't expect too. Haven't watched it in years though.
...this reminds me of another show that didn't get a lot of love for differing reasons and that's The Crow: Stairway to Heaven starring the delicious Mark Dacascos.
Again, I worship the original movie and was expecting to hate this. But I found myself really enjoying it. Mark was fantastic, sure he's no Brandon...but then who is?
