Anie Surion, I have always loved the name Will as well. To the point that if I have a son (when I am older) I plan to name him William (and of course partcialy after the great character that is William Turner). (high fives Anie Surion) Yay indeed for Will!

I was wondering...what is everyone's top three favorite William Turner scenes/or moments? Has this been discussed allready? If so I humbley apologize (I have yet to have time to go through the thread pages...sorry). However we do have at least three new members. So they could add their top three favorite scenes/moments to the list...if we allready have one. I am up for pretty much any and all Will related topics though...

*high fives Drew's Destiny* In my book, one of the main characters is actually named William, but he's called Liam for short. A tribute to a favorite name, character, and actor all in one!

Oh dear, only 3?!? This may take awhile to narrow down...

1. The shot of him in the after-credits AWE clip - when he's COTFD I mean. That is my new favorite shot. I looked something like this:
2. "I love you" - it's just too adorable for words.
3. "How can I trust you" from AWE. That's the first time we see just how much hurt and anger has built up inside him. The tension's so thick you could cut it with a knife.

That was hard, far too many runners-up.

Anie Surion, Oh that is really cool. I must agree that Orlando is one of it not my very favorite acotr of all time, William is probabley the best male name ever, and William Turner may be my very favorite televission or movie character of all time as well. Yep, three....I know it is really hard to narrow it down. There were so many wonderful Will scenes. Very nice list though. Let's see..I would have to pick...
1. The scene where Will was stabbed. As I said in the Pirates of the Caribbean At World's end thread, it was a bit of a love/hate thing. Still yet I can not help but put it as my favorite Will scene. The level of drama was amazing. Plus Will just looked so cute there.

2. The scene in Dead man's chest from where Will Bootstrap whipped Will to where William yelled at his father. Bootstrap beating Will was such a strong emtional scene. I hated what Bootstrap was doing and I would like to just take his script and eat it. However it made me feel (in fact I still cry everytime I watch it) so I liked it. I also liked seeing Will finaly get some of his anger (that was rightfuly placed, I might add) out on his dead beat daddy. I had waited a very...very long time for that.

3. Um after that I would have to pick the scene in Curse of the Black Pearl where Will and Elizabeth talked about her stealing the medalion and Will began to accept the fact that he was a pirate (as was his father). It had a high level of drama and the acting was top notch (as is all of Orlando's acting though). Wonderful scene in my opinion.

PD, Another Will fan? Cool....(high fives PD). Sadly though I am not the founder of the club. So you'll have to wait for Raven Sparrow to reply for your answer. Would you like to make a list of your top three favorite Will scenes too?

Sure, but I don't know if I could narrow it down to only three...

I like the cannibal island scene in DMC.
I love the whole scene where Will watches the Kraken take down the Edinburgh Trader in DMC
I love Will and Liz's wedding and when Will's fighting his father and all that in AWE.
I love the scene at the end of CotBP where Will rescues Jack too.

It's just too hard to narrow it down to only three favorites... I love them all!!

yes, we're all sitting back here admiring Anie's sig.

Will in AWE? We'll I LOVED him in AWE... and it's funny you should say he acted like a jerk throughout a lot of it. I never detected that at all. he was only trying to do what he thought was right. He was really stuck between a rock and a hard place through most of it as well... he was always looking out for Lizzie and his father, which at the end he realises it's one or the other... Elizabeth was really being the one who was stubborn and didn't want to talk during the first part. Will was just kinda... trying to make things right and not making anything right because he was stretched in too many directions.

I hope that makes sense...

btw, the bandana... why does it always go back to that? Am I the only one on this world who likes Will better without the bandana?

LOL It does makes sense. And that's a good point, actually. Will is being stretched in a lot of directions. That would be a terrible decision, his father or Elizabeth...

And yes, I do believe you are, lol. I loved the bandana! I don't know, it does something for him that was absolutely delicious.

I hope POTC is released in Canada the same as everywhere else...I'll probably be gone for a few weeks after that because I'll be watching POTC, lol XD

Good! I'm glad to hear that! I'm happy you think it sounds logical and good... I mean it always did to me, but you know. All you have to do is place yourself in Will's position and I think it becomes a little clearer that he wasn't so much of a jerk in AWE.

*sigh* oh well... I guess I'm used to being alone in that area. Although I really will never get the attraction to it... Will is absolutely perfect without it! and with it it adds something to him that's... well, absolutely un-Willish or something.

lol same here! I'm sure in Canada it'll be the same date as in the US... although Europe is getting it in just a week. *sigh* stupid American companies and stores!

And stupid Canadian stores! Best Buy MUST have it! I would love to preorder one from where ever, but ever since I quit my job I have no money and my parents won't get me one until Christmas. But my aunt works at a video store, so that's good XD
