Okay, I've thought about a new discussion topic:
In an interview Liv admitted smilingly that it was mostly Viggo who wanted to have so many scenes in Elvish.
Would you have liked more scenes in Elvish than PJ included in the end? Which further scenes could you imagine to be in Elvish instead of English?

Yes, I love the Elvish scenes so much, that I wish all Arwen/ Aragorn scenes would have been completely and not only partly in Elvish.
I really love it to hear Viggo speaking Elvish, as he has such a soft voice then.
As already mentioned, I would have liked it very much if PJ had done their scenes as well as the Arwen/ Elrond scenes completely in Elvish.

It would be great if all scenes with Arwen and Aragorn, were in Elvish. And a lot more scenes, too

I would have loved to have more scenes in Elvish. I would say that PJ did a wonderful job incorporating as much as he did, but even more would have been better. I would have liked it if all the scenes with Arwen and Aragorn, as well as any other Elves, would have been in Elvish.

Yeah, I agree with you. I also like the Aragorn/ Legolas scenes that are in Elvish. But I think if PJ would have done more of those, Gimli would have had problems understanding the two.
But apart from all Arwen & Aragorn scenes, it would have been wonderful to have the Galadriel scenes and the Elrond scenes (completely) in Elvish as well...

Do you think Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen are the perfect actors for the parts of Arwen and Aragorn, or could you imagine/ would you prefer someone else playing these roles?

I think I could see myself as Arwen. Viggo is just perfect as Aragorn.

I wish I could have acted as Arwen as well, but unfortunately I'm blonde-haired and much smaller than Liv, so I wouldn't look that much like Arwen should.
But actually I can't really imagine any other actors for these roles. I'm glad PJ had chosen Viggo in the end and not given the role to Stuart Townsend, as I think that Viggo really IS Aragorn.
And together Liv and Viggo are just perfect...

I can't imagine anyone else as Arwen and Aragorn. They're just too perfect for their roles. No one else would do them justice.
