^I love the group, too! Great new picture! The rabbit scene was the part that made me laugh the hardest when I first watched The Holy Grail. I had to pause the movie to give myself a minute to laugh. lol
I was watching tv with my family (they haven't seen The Holy Grail) and this commercial came on. http://youtube.com/watch?v=2GM5dWA2awI
I started laughing and they just stared at me. lol

My favorite character of Monty Python...that's hard. But I think I'll have to say it's the Black Knight, because that is by far my fave scene in any Monty Python skit, movie, whatever. It's a cult classic, really. Everyone knows the scene, even if they haven't seen the movie. I love just throwing out a random line of the Black Knight's and then laughing as someone else finishes the quote. I can always find someone to hang out with, so long as they can quote the Black Knight.
"I'm invincible!"
"You're a loony."

Guess what guess what guess what? I got the complete Monty Python Flying Circus set for Christmas!
Okay. Favorite python? I think Michael Palin. Besides being adorable, he is totally hilarious as any type of host. I love it when he hosts shows. And then probably John Clesse, because he can deliver lines so deadpan. HILARIOUS. But I love them all....who doesn't?
As for favorite character..."It's too early to say." Yeah, I really don't know..Their sketch characters are pretty hilarious, and then all of the Holy Grail bits...though Terry Jones as Herbert is pretty awesome, I must say. "What, the curtains?"

Haha, I agree that Herbert is pretty amazing.
"Well, you see, I thought your son was a lady."
"I can understand that."

^ That's from the Tale of Sir Lancelot in the Holy Grail movie. People tend to forget about that scene, sadly.
So my history teacher loves Monty Python. And now we're getting into the Middle Ages. And to demonstrate to us the brutality of the Middle Ages, we watched the Black Knight today. And soon we will see the logic of the Middle Ages:
"If she weighs the same as a duck...then she's made of wood!"
