Aramel - BOTH!  but for a while it was mostly the hyperventilating... then I would think of something else I couldn't wait to see and the squealing would start. 
Wow! You make me look like a Pirates hater, everyone! I've only seen the whole thing through once since I got it... but I HAVE watched select scenes... well, let's just say more than once.  I just don't want to wear it out too fast, you see. Oh, I know! Norrie's death really got me... but actually what I found got me even more was watching Becky die... I left the room, actually. It was too hard to handle any of that last part after the final battle... I dunno if it was because it was all over or because of Beckett's death and I STILL wish he didn't have to. 
"...and trim that scraggly beard!"  I don't know if I would say it's the funniest ever... there are A LOT of good ones in AWE... and how about that deleted scene "Two captains, one ship"?  Ooo, that was classic Jack and Barbossa!

lol, that's perfectly ok... I played Apples to Apples with my friends the other day and I guess apparently (from what it said I was) I'm an air-headed model-type of person (even though I'm definitely NOT)!  so you're in good company here. (whether you want to be or not! ) aye, you know now anyway...  that's exactly how I feel too.... the poor little actors! I mean how are they suppose to GET big if they never get any credit to begin with?! hehe, doesn't it though? And you could be my vice-president.... the Merry and Pippin of Herenya's family running Disney... I don't know whether to hide or smile.
Yes! yes, dear James does! The poor guy!  I'm happy they at least gave him a first name and all that.... to make him a little more real and not quite so.... well, just like they made because they had to have SOMEONE.
Thanks! I hoped someone might see the connection.... because it's definitely there. (we're beyond help now.... we're picking out songs the artists never intended that way and we're applying them to our fave characters (although we've probably been beyond help for a while now )

Sorry, I would, but somehow I don't trust the postal service with M&Ms. They haven't been very nice to glass and such in the past, you know, so you'd probably get LOTS of M&Ms...in tiny pieces.

Sad! Well, I don't think you're an airhead, most of the time. "Oy! We got company!"  Sorry, random Rags quote popped into my head and out of the keyboard. Exactly! That's why most new actors, unless some miracle happens for them (Keira and Orlando, for instance) just hang around in the background not doing much at all. I feel so sorry for them, because I kind of know how they feel. Oh dear, what an idea! "Odds bodkins!" That would be fun. We should rerelease the AWE DVD with a T&T commentary on it in which they confirm that Will and Lizzie can be together forever after 10 years.

Of course it is! I definitely see it! Although parts of it don't *quite* fit...but that's okay. It works, which is what matters. Oh, now, I've been doing that for a long, long time. After all, I made connections between Dodger of the Disney animated film Oliver and Company and Jack Sparrow - and Dodger is a DOG! But you might see know I mean, if you've seen it or if you watch it sometime...
Aramel, I didn't quite cry at Norrie's death but I felt like it. I had to stop working on my homework and have a moment of silence for him (AKA pause the DVD ). _________________

Aramel, hehe, already I've watched the final battle scene of AWE like 5 or 6 times.  and today I forced myself to sit through Norrie and Becky's death scenes.... they almost killed me! 
Aye, aye! My poor Becky! I really wish he could've turned somewhat good or something... but then that probably would've been cheesy too most people, right? (eh, even to me that probably would've been pretty cheesy) but it's so hard to watch him die! (Anie, me thinkith I need to read The Islanders again... I need some happy-Beckett-ending material )
lol, same here! But his accent!  ooooooo..... anyway, I suppose I'm used to it because everyone looks at me weird when I say I like Beckett, Norrington, Barbossa and Will. I get a lot of strange looks when I say I don't care for the actors but I love the characters too.

Think of all the wonderful things we could do! *begins dreaming big and scary dreams* you know, it's interesting you brought that up, Pip... my brother and I were discussing the absence of a commentary and then we were also talking about Will and Lizzie's story being unclear and my brother brought up the thought that what if Disney wanted it that way? It seems like they really pushed to have AWE's end be able to go either way, so what if they DIDN'T want T&T to set it straight once and for all? If that's true... well, then that would be simply horrid of Disney!  But the writers did seem to correct a lot of things Disney tried to make seem one way in DMC... so I don't know what to think.

good! well, yeah, some parts didn't, but overall it fit quite nicely. and now I can't listen to it without anything else but Norrie and Lizzie in mind. well, I see what you mean (although I've never seen that movie)... and I guess I've been making connections like that for a while too. That is, it's grown worse ever since I came here. (you guys are a bad influence! )

I thought of you when I watched the Becky death scene, I was just like, "I wonder if PD felt horribly about this too..." It was pretty neat to fall on the EITC flag, though, if I had to pick my favorite part. And I liked how he just ignored all of the debris flying around. Awesome scene but not, you know? 
It might've been a tad cheesy, but I think that even Beckett had a heart, although he didn't show it. I guess from watching it so much I've learned to appreciate him a lot more than when I was first like, "Evilish villain guy, I hate you." Huzzah for teh Beckettness! 
I know! It's... sexy! [Everything about Becky is] I feel like no one understands when I say about how I like those chara's too since everyone's too busy swooning over Jack and all of the "good" guys. The bad guys need love too.

hmmm, I guess I should feel honored that you thought of me? although it's such a sad scene... I dunno if I want to be associated with it! but, yes, it really hurt me to watch him die... my poor Becky! I don't even want to pick a favorite part of that scene! But I suppose he did die rather honorably... I mean he didn't whine or cry. He knew it was coming and accepted it. Very much like him!
hmmm, I think you're right, Ara. Becky does have a heart... but do you think that more now that I've developed a lot of his past and sorta made him have a heart (along with just getting to know him better, of course )? I dunno about you, but that has seemed to effect me a little... not to mention I've seen more potential in his character and I've actually seen HIM... if that makes sense.
lol, that's nice! you're totally right! And I do get so tired of the whole "Jack is a god" thing. it makes me dislike him more when I don't even necessarily mean to... I just wish people would open up their eyes and see that there ARE other characters! *sigh*
anyway, we're getting off of Norrie.

Well...yeah, I think it was. A no-head, I love it! Oh, it might be spelled "oi" but to me that looks wrong so I've always spelled it "oy".  Not that it really matters, but you might actually be right. Perhaps I should watch a Jack bit with subtitles and see how they spell it?

*snickers at PD* It's just, I thought of you RPing him... I can't look at Beckett without thinking of you.  I think it added more intensity in that aspect. Lol, Beckett whining and crying? 
Again, it all goes back to the RPing thing... you're doing so great with him that yeah, I'm seeing another totally different side. And I agree - you're definitely building up his character. It makes me pity him a lot more than I probably would have.
And Will [even though he is a god  ] too! Everyone swoons over him and the guys are all hung up on Elizabeth... that's why I like Tia Dalma and Barbossa, etc. - because they're not commonly thought of.
Aye, Norrie! Huzzah!
@Anie - I really didn't didn't loose respect, but I didn't gain any, either. I didn't really care too much for him before I saw AWE. But now I love him and I think he did what he had to do.

aww, I understand. And now my craving has really been satisfied... I got a big bag of pink M&Ms last Sunday as a sort of Christmas present from one of my friends. now I shall be set for, oh, probably.... two months!

thanks! I thought it was quite brilliant myself. hmmm, well, it seems like in the subtitled PotC versions Jack says it "oi"... we'll both have to go look again now lol (watching parts of the movies in subtitles is such fun, isn't it? lol)

*sigh* it's so tragic! I love my "little" actors and "little" characters! I really hope they do! lol, yeah.... it has been really mulled over and picked apart in the AWE thread (and it seems like everywhere else too ) but that doesn't mean it's all bad... it just sometimes gets me really worked up.
lol, very good point! yeah, Cutler can be... well, Cutler. I can't think of any nicknames at all except for Becky. he shall always be my Becky!
hmmm, I thought I came up with it as a Norribeth song. Huzzah for The Norribeth Song!  when I put it in my iPod instead of having the actual name come up I might type in The Norribeth Song.

ok, good question! I kinda have to side with Ara here... although I did start liking James before AWE came out. I didn't loose any respect for him when he stole the heart. I quite understand it, actually. I mean the poor dude was desperate to get his life back and get off that smelly ship. I think, if I was him, I would be too. so from the many times I've "entered" his mind in different circumstances I can understand him and I know that it was only in his character. and seeing him in DMC was when I began to fall in love with him... actually it's probably getting close to my 1 year anniversary of falling in love with Norrie's character! Huzzah for me!
Ara, are you laughing at me now? Me and my poor Becky! wow, that's interesting... I feel so special now! Every time you see Beckett you think of me? that's sweet! It seems like now every time I see Arwen or Liv Tyler I can't help but think about you and Vari (and of course whenever I watch PotC period I can't help but think of you, Anie and all my other PotC friends here ). hmmm, maybe it did... I know, it's quite unbelievable, isn't it?
once more I thank you for the kind words about my Becky playing in the RPs... good... I'm glad you took it the right way (after I wrote it I didn't know if you would...) I just thought that maybe it was effecting others like it has effected me... because I find myself growing more fond and caring about him and how he must feel. I see him in a new light. and isn't that the sign of something good if I can convince you and have you see a chara in a different light (but still believable ) and make you pity and maybe even like him even if he is a "villian"? (I wuve building his character up... I wonder what T&T would have to say about it... )
aye, I suppose even Will too.... Oh, I dunno about Barby not being thought of... he is a pretty awesome character and he seems to be the only one I have never ever heard of being bashed. I mean he RULES in AWE!  I love watching him! So funny... funnier, IMO, than Jack even. Go Barbossa!
