I don't know. I hope it will be shown in cinema.

Yep, I hope it will someday be shown here as well or that it will be released on DVD, so that you can order it.
Okay, time for a new discussion topic again:
Do you actually like the way PJ depicted Arwen and how he slightly extended her part by including all those Arwen/Aragorn scenes that don't exist in the books? Or would you have liked to see her as a warrior princess fighting at Aragorn's side like her role was planned first of all?

For the feminist in me, I'd say I'd love to see her fight more, but I was pleased of PJ's presentation of her, though the only 2 things I don't like are her limited scenes and she has to go to the Grey Havens.

Yeah, on the one hand I could imagine Arwen fighting at Aragorn's side, as the two would have much more scenes together then, but on the other hand I'm glad that PJ did what he did, as there would have been troubles with Eowyn's role otherwise and as Arwen's depiction would have been completely different from Tolkien's then.
Tolkien saw her more or less as the one who provides Aragorn with courage and strength, nearly taking over the role of a muse, and considering that PJ has really done a great job. But, of course, Arwen's scenes are much too short and there are too few of them in general.

I agree. More Arwen!

Well, but I think in comparison to the books PJ has already done a great job in extending Arwen's part.

Same here. You're more convinced that Arwen is really Aragorn's muse.

I would love more Arwen, but I don't think I would really like her fighting by Aragorn's side and everything. I think that would be going too far from the book. Even Arwen traveling to the Grey Havens was a bit of a stretch for me. (Although, of course, I love it )

Yep, I love the vision as well.
It stresses the way she is torn between her people and her future in Middle-Earth as well as the conflict between her and Elrond. Besides, it points out for what reason she decides to make that great sacrifice of giving up her immortality. And of, course, Eldarion together with Aragorn was just cute.

I agree, I loved the father-son moment.

Yep, it was just sooo cute...
Well, it's time for a new discussion topic again:
The song “Aniron“ by Enya is, of course, a wonderful theme for Arwen & Aragorn, but have you ever listened to another song and thought automatically that it would be perfect for the two, as it totally fits their situation? If yes, what song was it and why did you think so?

Wow. There are far too many to even begin. I find myself thinking that many times. Hmm.... one that comes to my mind is "Come What May", from Moulin Rouge. It fits them well, I think. It expressed the fact that they will always be there for each other no matter what happens, because they both face so much just to be with each other. There are many more, as I said, but I can't think of any right now... Good question though.

Well, to be honest I've heard quite a lot about this song, but never listened to it . I think I'm going to search for it on the net...
The first song that actually came to my mind was "My Immortal" by Evanescence. The song could in a way tell their story after Aragorn's departure from Rivendell when both cannot be certain how their relationship will continue. It would really fit the sad mood then.
But I agree that there are tons of other songs. I usually think "Wow this would be a perfect Arwen/Aragorn theme" when I listen to such a song, but right now I can't think of many more either. But I'll continue thinking about it and then extend my list...
EDIT: "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams fits great as well, as it stresses Aragorn's dedication to Arwen.
I've just found a video using this song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUQ0-QWU3aE
And I think also "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion would fit well, as it underlines the endlessness of their love:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8iawKH9bkM
A video for "My Immortal":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu8kyjtdbWM
And a video for "Come What May":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChG-QZjkmwA
You're right, the song is really beautiful and fits so well...
I'll search for more as soon as I've got more time...

Broken by Seether and Amy Lee is perfect. I don't think the Come What May Vid works any more.

Yes, all of those are wonderful as well, Rose. Actually, a few of those where songs that I've had that same thought with before. Hmm.... "All I Ask of You", from PotO is pretty good, although not exact. I still can't think of any others though.
Thanks for the videos, too, Rose!!
