Anyways..can I join, although I know we dont have to ask. I also would like to vote for Pirate to comandeer the club!

woah...nobody's been here in a little while...I am officially breaking the silence to inform all ye mateys of a wonderful event! My friend (BlueEyedGirl4God) and I went to see movie today, and there was a poster up for POTC 2!!!  :pirate: We both freaked out! It looks awesome, and I totally can't wait for the trailers to hit theaters! (this probably won't happen until around december, but it's worth it) BEG4G and I have already planned on seing several movies around that time, just to catch the trailer (Chronicles of Narnia, Zoro, etc). This is so wonderful!!! 
Oh, and for my random update: 280 days until POTC 2!!!!

Jack's dad? Scary thought. Like father, like son. I think that Will is the only one who'll meet his father in this movie, though.

lol there have been off-and-on rumors about keith richards coming on to play Jack's father, but they do not indicate which movie, nor the significance of his appearance. It could a major plot twist, or it could simply be a flashback. I do know Stellan Skarsgard is playing Bootstrap Bill in both movies, but again, there's no indication as to his significance (all I know is that it's not just flashbacks). Anyway, I agree with evenstar. It'll be great regardless!!

im broke and my parents dont like those kind of movies so i watch it with friends im planning to get it when i go to pakistan this year - u can get it for 3 bucks!! yeay!!

My sympathies, friend. You've no manner of luck at all.
(yes, i did just intentionally quote)
Anyway, I'm really excited! I think I told you all that BlueEyedGirl4God, hermioneismytwin, and I are having a POTC party at hermione's house on the 29th. Yesterday we all three went thrift store/Wal-mart shopping and got our costumes. You'd be surprised how much piratey stuff can be found in a thrift store! So I'm really excited about this all, and I'll be sure you show everybody pictures of our costumes and the decorations (we're doing an Isla de Muerta theme )

really? me too! although i'm actually modeling my look more after a character in my POTC fanfics (who started as my RPG character, so she's pretty much me). the best place to look for stuff is in thrift stores. BlueEyedGirl4God got her whole main outfit (shirt, pants, belt) for under $5! accessories are really cheap too. i'd love to compare pics with you to see what we both come up with!
