Oh, I knew the rumors. One doesn't hang around KTTC and talk to PotR every day and not hear SOME rumors - and through the whole movie I kinda had a sinking feeling about Will and stabbing the heart. Didn't stop me from being horribly disappointed, though. And Melda is known for crying during movies, heh.

I was SO. HYPED. when I discovered he was free after ten years. Did a happy dance around the comp room.

Hmm, no, Anie told me that Orlando did have a crush on her while they were filming CotBP but she already had a boyfriend so it didn't work. From the sound of that I would say that it was her who didn't want to get together, not him. Although a lot has changed since then so who knows... one thing's for sure, Orli needs to just find the RIGHT girl. All these girls I hear about him dating now are all... well, not that great.

I've heard that too... very interesting. Although he has lots of "lovers"... look at Scarlett and Giselle.

Apparently he also wore a bit of rabbit fur from a rabbit he ate Well, Johnny will be Johnny, XD. And as for Scarlett and Giselle, they seemed rather taken with Gibbs towards the end of Pirates 3, lol. But who knows.

(although she might have at an earlier time ) Well, I believe it was on one of the CotBP special features or on one of the commentaries, right Anie? or where did it come from? No, I thought Kate came later like during the filming of DMC and a little before that... gosh, I can't keep up with these actors! and Orlando is actually one of the better ones as far as dating goes!

I haven't heard that! Are you positively SURE that's Orli and not just stupid people tearing him down on YouTube? because he's always seemed to be one of the cleaner actors out there as far as that goes... he always seemed like a pretty sure-footed young guy... but sometimes fame can do a lot to you. (two good examples are Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan )

I believe you're thinking of Rupert Friend? Kirlando (ooh, didn't know it had a name ) would be adorable, I agree. Well, I read a quote by Orli in a book I read about him - obsessed? Noooo - that went something like "Keira is beautiful. I had a crush on her when we filmed Pirates. [But] she's got a boyfriend...She's in love with him, he was around the set the whole time, and I couldn't compete! I was heartbroken!" I don't know who he was dating at that time, he changes girls too fast for me to keep up.

Yes, I heard about him and Penelope as well, but from what I understand, the broke up some time ago. But apparently they were living together for a while.

Yeah, I was surprised to see him being such a jerk as well. But it was from the bonus features of "Knocked Up". I've never seen the movie and never really intend to, but originally Orlando was supposed to get the lead male part, but he wouldn't drop his accent and use an American one so the director fired him because apparently he had already agreed to do an American accent. But then he just started going on about how he was "Orlando Bloom" and could do whatever he wanted because he'd been in such big movies like LOTR and POTC and that the movie would suffer from not casting him, not the other way around. And as for the accident, there were photos and such. Apparently his female passenger sustained a rather unpleasant neck injury. He seems to have taken a rather nasty turn. I respect his acting talents and he's still attractive and all, but I don't really like him anymore

An elk's shin bone? Why does that not surprise me...

And as for Scarlet and Giselle, they do, don't they? lol. I love the bit at then end where Jack is like, "Yes, that dress makes you look fat, but that is all unimportant in comparison to the fact that my ship is once again gone!" And then they slap him, lol.

Oh, they broke up? That shows how up-to-date I am! I still thought they were together! How are we suppose to keep up with him... or any of them! It's just too much for me! I have other things to do with my time... *cough* like think of PotC, Will, Becky and Norrington ....

Really? ugh! Knocked Up looks like possibly one of the worst movies of all time! When I even think about it I get sick to my stomach (although there is one other movie I hate worse ) That's weird that Orlando wouldn't do that... he did it for Elizabethtown. and he sounded really good with an American "accent". And I never thought he would be THAT stuck up about something as dumb as that... (although I do have to say I'm happy he wasn't in that film... it would've been degrading for him IMO so maybe that's how he felt?) That's too bad... I still do respect him too and he has done some nice things for his fans, co-stars ect before, but now.... well, I really hope he turns it around. Maybe he can call Johnny Depp up or something. Johnny seems like he's put together and he doesn't let the fame get to his head too much. (anyway, that's exactly the reason I like the characters the actors play instead of the actors. I've realized long ago that they are the ones you actually know, the ones you like… not the actors so much. so I like Will and Legolas and the other characters Orlando has played much better than him (no offence meant to him though!) because I actually know them )

Aye, they do! Oh, I liked that part too! Jack FINALLY comes around and stops being a suck-up! That's the Jack I like... the REAL Jack behind all the oddities and the eyeliner.

^Haha I'm not more much up-to-date. Apparently they were dating a year ago and then broke up in mid-March or so and I heard all of this in June, LOL! I used to be so up-to-date...I don't really care to stay informed about Hollywood stuff, though. I have more important things to do...

Yeah, it's one of the stupidest movies I've ever heard out. But the director asked for him, Orly didn't audition. Johnny would DEFINITELY be a good person for him to model himself after. Well, now, I mean. He was pretty messed up as a kid and young man, but he's really straightened out from what's publicly known about him. I just say that because there's always the other side to them, the side that the cameras don't show.

I had this MAJOR Orlando Bloom obsession up until about six months ago when I finally realized that it was the characters that I adored more than Orlando because I knew his characters a heck of a lot better, XD.

I like Jack-behind-the-Jack too, XD. But he's so attractive that the sucking up, eye liner and oddities don't bother me. Jack wouldn't be Jack without the eye liner, oddities and sucking up.

but you're still more so than I am. Ok, thanks! That clears things up a bit. well, just think you did better than me... I didn't hear about it until... well, just a few days ago! lol I was never really up-to-date with Hollywood and actors. A few, maybe.... but not the whole slew of them! There's just too many, too much, too often! Most of the news about Hollywood I get is from what I see of the magazines by the check-outs at the store.

aye, aye! well, that makes more sense... so maybe Orlando wasn't really the bad guy in that part of the story... maybe he was just trying to beat it into the director that he did not want to be a part of the movie... there's always two sides to every story. aye, Johnny seems to be an alright guy now... even if as a kid he was kind of wild and into bad things. I know what you mean. they're actors. They can ACT nice for the camera but when the camera is off... well, you know. so it's really hard to judge if you like an actor or not because they're always disappointing when they turn out to be far different from what they are on camera.

Aye, that's exactly how I feel! I can love and respect Orlando as an actor and for some of the things he's done, BUT I realize it's not him I really like or feel like I know.

I know that the Jack-oddities are what make him... him, but the Jack-behind-the-Jack (as you put it ) is so much... nicer, sweeter, and just more genuine (and it's nice to see he IS a normal person with normal thoughts and feelings and that most of his weirdness is just a cover-up ) and I think Jack really only opens THAT Jack up to Will.... really. maybe Barbossa once upon a time before the mutiny and all... (anyway, don't be mistaken, the weird Jack doesn't really bother me either... it's just classic JD/Jack Sparrow and it really works )

anyway, we've wandered dreadfully off-topic... if there was an award for that I think we would win it.

aye, that seems to be all it boils down to. well, the thing is is that people do try to make them out to be gods. so it's just a screwed up system to beging with and then you get all the people who make things up and throw little bits of info together and... yeah.
