Er.. hi. *brushes cobwebs off a nearby chair* Soo.. the main reason I'm reviving this club is to ask a question that's been on my mind as of late. You see, I'm writing a Norribeth fanfic right now that is slightly AU considering it completely disregards everything after CotBP. We know for sure that Elizabeth is 20 during the events of CotBP, but I was wondering how old James is? He must be considerably older than her, isn't he?I asking mainly so that I have a better idea in my mind as I continue writing my fanfic.

anyway, it's nice to see it revived a bit... 
oooh, and a fun question!  I've sort of tried to figure out all of the charries ages at some point or another since I've become obsessed with PotC so this'll be fun! Finally my ideas pay off... 
I think, since at the beginning of CotBP, Liz is about 12 or 10 or something and he seems a bit older than her then...  I'd say he's probably 30's or so.  31, 32... around there.
was that what you were thinking?
anyway, I wish you luck with your Norribeth fanfic! How has it been going, btw?

My name isn't on the list... though I do vaguely remember posting here before. :/
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts on the matter PD. It's lovely to see you, by the way. It feels as though I haven't spoken to you in ages. Actually, if my memory serves me well, it is established somewhere that Elizabeth is 12 years old during the crossing from England. But I guess you're right as Norrie would be in his early twenties at least making him at the youngest 28 and at the oldest 33. I think, for the sake of my story, he shall be 30 as that gives him plenty of worldly experience over Elizabeth.
The story is actually going quite well. I have links to chapters 1-3 up in the fanfic board and if you're up late enough you may be able to read the fourth one.

Yup, I think you’re right now that you mention it… I think it has been established that Liz is 12 on the coming over from England scene. yeah, 30 sounds right to me… not overly old, but just enough older than Elizabeth. the perfect age for him…
