I'm considering bringing one of my real swords to the theater as part of my costume, and seeing if they let me in... :-P *evil laughter*

I know, that's why I'm leaning against the idea. I've never tried taking a sword to a theater though, so I don't know what my state's laws are about it. Though I did take a pretty nice-looking plastic one to RotK on opening day. :) That was fun.

I think I've decided not to bring a sword, unless it's a fake one. My friend's dad is taking us anyway, and I wonder what he'd think... :-P

*looks at clock* an hour and eleven minutes until we leave...

EDIT: *is in hysterics* OK, we went to the movie. It was pretty fun. One of my friends had seen it, though my other friend and my little sister hadn't. The best part was, my friend who hadn't seen it was ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS when the movie was over. During the credits, she was standing in the theater yelling and hitting the chairs... and she's normally a quiet, sweet girl! She hated that movie like... like Davy Jones hates Jack Sparrow. It was so funny! And I was just sitting back as she ranted about the whole J/E thing and the ending and saying "I told you so." My little sister was joining in somewhat, and my friend who had seen it before and I were laughing and laughing!

If I were in the same theater as you I would've prolly freaked out. No one should get THAT emotional, at least until they're back home.

I agree. It is just a movie in the end. A completely awesome movie, but nothing to freak out in public like that. But at the same time, it does sound entertaining.

'Kay, I'm not putting it off ANY MORE, I'm joining this baby. *Is determined*

When I walked out of the theater from seeing DMC and my mom was waiting for me, she said I had this unbelievably shocked look on my face. I guess it was funny at the time, but I went home and hit my poor pillow to death, I was so mad.

Wondered when you'd come in, Mel. ;)

Yes, I was furious. The first time I saw it I really couldn't make much of a racket 'cuz everyone was clapping and cheering. Waht else could I do? Peer pressure got to me. :p When I got home I decided to kill my wall though. It was kinda fun...

Yeah, I couldn't speak for the first five minutes or so after seeing it. Then I was alternately shocked and angry. :-P

The first was better.

But yes, I kind of thought my friend overreacted to. But considering she's normally pretty quiet and sweet... it was hilarious. :-P

haha, that kinda funny, some of my friends did that, and...did anyone elce wait to the bitter end of the credits??... well, we did, and my best friends little brother was like "is it over yet? is it almost there now? is it? when will it get ther?" through the WHOLE credits, good thing was I think there were only us and one more group that got to here him complain...yes, he was quite loud...anyway, I wasn't that shoked at the end, someone had given me a spoiler...ggrr... and I had seen that Barrbosa was credited in the movie, so I new he had to be in ther somwhere...my friends faces were still priceless... :-D

I should have known, but I didn't pay enough attention to the spoilers... which was funny, I knew about just about every single last thing but that.

I did stay to the end this last time, though I didn't the first time. :)

I read the plot on the Wikipedia before I went. But I'm glad I did, otherwise I probably wuldn't of been able to keep myself from crying. I came pretty close though, my eyes got very, very blurry.

I knew most of the plot before hand, because I read the novelization. But yeah, my vision blurs up in a few scenes with Bootstrap and Will.
