Beckabeth, Barbossabeth, Sparrabeth, Norribeth, Beckabethington, Willabeth - you name it, I've heard of it  I think it's fun to debate but Beckabeth wouldn't work on screen - too improbable. That's actually my biggest argument for W/E - probability!
This is off topic, but this scene is from an old CotBP script that I happen to have bookmarked, and I LOVE it! I just found it, like, today! It's so sweet, I can't believe they didn't use it! And Jack's line at the end -

Elizabeth calls out:
ELIZABETH

The three men turn as one. An awkward moment -- which of them

trousers? And how did you get off
the island?
Elizabeth can't believe that's what he noticed. Indignant, she

for how we got off the island --
ah, that's a grand adventure, but
now is not the time to talk about

She reaches a hand behind his neck, decisively kisses him.
ELIZABETH
There. And don't you dare tell me
that wasn't a proper kiss!
WILL
Elizabeth, I think it doesn't
matter that we are of a different
class --
ELIZABETH
It doesn't!
WILL

Pure consternation on Elizabeth's face --
WILL (CONT'D)
This is a proper kiss.
Will sweeps her in his arms, leans her back, and kisses her
long and well --
Jack puts a hand on Norrington's shoulder.
JACK

WOw, confuzzling...I've never tried a POTC fanfic, save for one I plan to write, a crossover, my two fave LotR charries (aragorn and Legolas) will come into the scene during DMC hehe, william and Legolas should run into some truble...
SNOW! oh, I should try to get some pics of the snowman I made, I named 'im Chuck, Hese about...less than a foot tall, and is sitting on to of my mailbox..hehehe

Aye, I've heard of Beckabeth, on that lovely forum of many-spoilers (not yet really :\)
It's an interesting subject to poke at.....very interesting, but I wouldn't really want it to turn out that way.

Oh, neither would I. It's just fun to play with the idea. Plus I love all the snarkiness involved.  One of my friends on the Beckabeth thread is in the process of writing a fic called "Breakfast With the Becketts," and it's basically detailing a casual conversation over breakfast about killing each other. What I've read so far is incredible, and I can't wait for the finished product.
So glad to find out I'm not the only one who indulges in Beckabeth, though!

NOT FAIR! We saw only a few flakes of snow where I am in Texas....  I never ever get to see snow!

Mwahaha, we have so much snow it can be measured in feet  It's super cold here though, -40 Celsius with the wind chill the other day. Brrr.
Breakfast With the Becketts, eh? That sounds intriguing. I need to write down the current fanfic I have floating about in my head... _________________

Beckabeth sounds... weird, to be honest. That idea had never ONCE crossed my mind. Though I guess it's about as acceptable to me and a Sparrabeth pairing...

I have officially decided that. ^^ It had never crossed my mind either, tho I think your right, it is just as odd as Sparrabeth...I really didn't like how love struck she is in DMC, I mead did she just forget about everything that happened in CotBP? He threatened her life, cares nothing for dear William at all, save for Leverage, and *goes on about why 'Lizze shold NOT like (Cap'n) Jack*
anyway, it seems I got us onto this snow thing, but right now I don't feel like getting us off snow pirates it is!

OMG I bought the CotBP Medallion yesterday and it looks incredibly like the one in the movie!!!!!!! I also have the key from DMC and another pirate necklace *is very very happy*

@ Haldir: Sweet! I saw one at the store the other day, but I didn't have the money to get it(we were shopping for the angel tree, so all of the money I had brought was already spent.
@ Altariel: O yes we did! HAHA! thats cool! I was going to try and make a smilie of a pirate in the snow, but thats better!
