Ick, Breaking Dawn. Exactly.
And I can't get my mother to read anything. No matter how I try. And she would probably laugh at me anyway.

I dunno, I liked BD. It has been argued that BD is more like fanfiction than the rest of the series, but... I like FF. So yeah.
(btw, sometimes when I think of the last couple of books in the HP series, I have to stop and think about whether some scene I'm remembering is actually from the book or if it was FF. Some FFs are very good, and some book scenes are just not very well written/too far-fetched.)

See, sometimes fanfic is amazing. I've read Torchwood fic that has been so good it made me cry, and books sometimes fail to do that.
... Breaking Dawn was bad fanfic. It's like the kind that people who can write laugh at. Stephenie Meyer isn't such a bad writer, but BD? It was horrible, it really was. The other three perhaps didn't have the best of plots, but her writing made it work.

Actually, I HAVE read a better fanfic of Breaking Dawn than the actual book, come to think of it. Leah hooked up with Jacob, as it should have been.

Well, I will concede that I'm not sure Jacob was the best pick for Renesmee, and vice versa. It was annoying, especially right after Bella was turned and she wanted to spend time with Renesmee, and Jacob was going all berserk trying to protect her. An upside of his imprinting on her was that it helped calm down the tension between the pack (who wanted to kill Bella's little monster) and the vamps + Jacob. Also, he was there and ready to protect Renesmee when the Volturi came.
I think Jacob and Leah probably should've ended up together, but alas. (Plus there's the whole 'I was in love with your mom until you came along' thing down the road for Jacob and Renesmee... weirdness)

I think the baby never should've been born in the first place. It ruined the rest of the book. D; And it ruined Jacob too.

It would've been a short book if she hadn't been born! Bella and Edward would come back from the honeymoon, changed her, and then.... ? They lived happily ever after? Which isn't bad, but... it's kind of boring. Haha

Exactly. And then we wouldn't have had to suffer through another 300 or so pages of the annoying baby.

Haha, Breaking Dawn didn't really even have a plot.
It would have been nice if Renesmee hadn't been born in the first place, and then there was epic Volturi battle, and some deaths.

Lawlz. The "battle" that was apparently in BD. Most Epic Fail in the history of writing.
If you can't write your characters out of a situation, don't put them into the situation in the first place. Kthx.

Haha, I laughed. I was like "finally, epic Volturi batt--nope, apparently not. Just kidding."

I just did myself a huuuuge favor!
Ordered all new editions of Twilight!
I am so looking forward to seeing the movie and hoping that it will live up to all my expectations!
- perhaps I could become a member of this fine club?

Bella was hailed as superhero of the day... and then Bella and Edward went off and did their own thang...

And yet again neglected their child. Go figure.
